Weather Warning

Apparently we are going to get lots of snow tonight and it may hit minus 10. Not much if your my sister, but for us here in Blighty we can expect the country to come to a stand still for a day or two.

All I will do is remember to only make journeys that are necessary, so work will be out the window, however driving to the pub will not be a problem.

This Weekend

Hello all. Just a quick note to wish everyone a good weekend. Hope the boys have a good time at Sparkies! I'm looking forward to some good stories of drunken antics on Monday. Ben, I hope you have a good time this weekend too ;). Me, well I am in Ireland where I will be watching the 6 Nations hoping that England can muster up a decent performance against the Scots. I will also be acting as a personal bank account for Catherine no doubt but that's only to be expected. Oh, I hope the girls have a great Hen night too, enjoy! :)

I am Sueing Jay

Yesterday my shoulder blade felt like it had been ripped out and replaced with PAIN. That TV is a health hazard and you should expect to be served with the appropriate papers this week. I am looking to take you to the cleaners, or at least get the £3 you owe me for the munchies sandwich i got you!!!

Trip!

On Friday I'm stepping onto a plane which is taking me to Dublin for a company conference. It will be the usual stuff - turnover / profit for '06 followed by expected turnover / profit for '07 followed by boozing in Dublin, a night in a hotel then a swim home. Should be top especially as I'm gunning for the Employee Of The Year award - how can I not win?

Looking at my plane ticket I can't take any luggage which surely isn't correct - this could prove problematic if my pants fail during the shenanigans. Must investigate.

What I will be looking for in Ireland:

- Somewhere to smoke
- Potatoes
- Leprechauns
- Rainbow (with pot of gold)
- Ginger Hair
- Stephen

Not as exciting as forgotten glasses or iPod speakers some might say, but it could be worse.

my tale

I am in London today. I got up at 5:15am. I walked to the train station and bought a ticket to paddington including Zone 1 on the underground - it cost £120!

I got the 6:10 train. because of a derailment we were held up and so didnt get to the office until 10:30! how annoying.
Seeing as i was late this morning anyway i stopped into one of the many electronics shops next to the office to look at the ipod speakers ;). The New JBL radial is good - looks good and great sound - no remote though. The apple one has very very good sound and has a remote - but looks like a lego brick. the bose one i think it is that I will get at some point.

I was to have a meeting at 10am but was postponed till 11. it finished at 12:15 and i have just been to one of the many shops nearby - i got noddles and sweet and sour chicken as my train is at 5:50 tonight therefore wont have a decent dinner.

How is that for a Tale John ;) not quite as interesting as ben and his glasses.

Forgot my Glasses

I seem to have forgotten my glasses today, i only need them whilst i am concentrating, why do i bring them to work i hear you ask? So i can see the screen and talk to people on MSN and do the quiz sometimes.

I am glad however, the giant pile of work i had to do seems to have vanished overnight:)

Either that or i just can not see it!!!

New Scam

I'm not one for usually sending on junk e-mails about potemtial scams as I hate them , but I had a close miss over the weekend. I walked into B&Q earlier on sunday and some old guy dressed in orange asked me of I wanted decking. Fortunately I got the first puch in and that was the end of that. Those less suspecting might not be so lucky: be aware!

Weekend Update

Hey everyone, just wondering what everyone did at the weekend? Did the boys win the football? Did Drews hand fall off due to infection in his wound? Did Cheltenham miss it's drunken wild child? Did the economy bomb cause i did not spend too much money on alcohol?

I was away this weekend as you can tell. I got drunk on Friday night in Northampton, well a village outside of it with my friend. Went in to Northampton Town on Saturday, walked around the centre, which is a shit hole now. Did see my gran and Great Aunt and had a coffee with them. Then spent the rest of the weekend with my friend (You know who i mean Sis).

About time

I have said at every super hero film that I have been to "When will they make a film about the Silver Surfer". Well, here it is.........
