How are we all today?
Did you all have a good weekend? Mine was ok, it consisted of shopping and sunbathing which generally is a good thing in my book.
Am having my highlights done by the trainees in the college salon this afternoon, could be a bit nerve racking though at £30 cheaper than my normal salon I can't complain. If i'm not in for the rest of the week you know why!
So come on then, give me the goss, what did you all get up to this weekend?

Another Week starts again
The working week rolls into action again this fine sunny monday, and it is already bloody hot in the office (no air con) sweat box city, may not need to go in the sauna when i go to the gym later today.
The other thing i want to tell you is that sara is off on holiday for a week today. So i am going to be lonely all week. So those of you who are in chelts will have to keep me entertained and happy.
On another note in three weeks we are going to Alton towers!!!

BATMAN BEGINS IS ACE!!
Thought the film was superb!! Back to what it should be - dark, lots of amazing sets and bad ass baddies.
What made it even better was seeing it at the IMAX. I will say that the 1st fight scene was hard to watch as it was so fast and large it was more of a blurr. But I got used to it and after that minted. Oh and the IMAX usually shows films that are 20/40 mins long so are not really great for 2hr 20min films! but hay i loved it :)

i am happy
The last 2 weeks in my new job has made a massive difference.
I am now enjoying my work again. And it will be made much better once I negociate my new contract.

Wet Wednesday
The sun does not have his hat on today, he is however singing in the rain, and splashing in the puddles. Not the nicest day to wake up to this morning. Hope my roof holds out it was supposed to be fixed, will see when i get home later. They are coming to fix the hole in the bathroom celing on friday, 8 months after it was initially reported, should stop the wind blowing through it.

Morning All
Hello everyone!
How are you all today? Well I had a nice time in Cheltenham on Friday, I forgot how much I like the place! I think it's safe to say that I spent all of my birthday money there but I have lots of nice new clothes to wear so that's ok! We got the train in from my sisters in Bristol and had about 5 hours shopping there with a quick coffee break at Costa or whatever it is inside Ottakars with the roof terrace. You need an H&M though since I had to then take a trip to Exeter on Saturday so I could buy some more outfits there!!

the rain in spain falls merrily on the plain
had a pretty cool w/e
friday all D'boys went out and had fun at Moda (the club formally known as Time) and had one or two alcoholic beverages.
Saturday i went up to Sandbach to see my old pals (Yvette was going to Middlesbourgh for he pals wedding)/
i went out with a few of my mates to the usual shit pubs. no clubs so wlaking back to my pals house at 11:40 WOO HOO!! it was good fun really as i saw tons of people i used to go to school with. they hadnt changed - bit sad really.
Sunday i went to see a friend i know and her husband -got a cuppa and then her wee sister brought round louise (my wee sister as she came up with me) then we left back to the dizy heights of chelts.
Got to my flat watched Futurama and simpsons (nodding off every so often) then joey and 2 and 1/2 men then as usual 24 - only james and myself watching (and my sis) ben was at his coz of his leg, Drew was rough, sparky and j were knackered too, so we all watched indavidually for the 1st time since the series started.
this morning got a filling and my tounge is still numb.

My Holiday
Hello everyone! I'm back! Miss me?
Holiday was pretty good though i'm tired today! Flew to Alicante from Exeter on Friday afternoon and then it takes about an hour and a half to get down to La Manga where my ex has his apartment. La Manga is really nice, it is a long strip with the sea either side, the Mar Menor on one and the Med on the other. His apartment is on the 8th floor over looking both seas and the pool.
Drank on an empty stomach the first night so was cursing myself for not packing any asprins the next day though managed a walk to the beach (all 30 secs from the apartment) before I had to go and be sick and then passed out for a sleep by the pool!
The next day we went to the marina for a walk and to some old army type base that was to do with the Spanish Civil War and apparently where they filmed some of the Guns of Navarone or something. It sounds way more boring than it was, if I can i'll show you some of the photos I took.
I can't remember what else I did at the mo, i'm still half asleep! It was generally beach, pool, shopping, back to the beach, quick swim in the pool on repeat! There was a major thunder storm which was quite impressive on one of the evenings. Flew back to Exeter for about 10.20pm last night and it was ages before I went to bed.
Still, my tan is impressive for what sun I saw. Thanks to the tan accelerator gel I got. I shall be using that again!

England's Football Tour of America
Englands current tour of America in absolut pants, I will not be going out of my way to watch anymore of there piss poor football.
I am all for letting some new players have a go on the side, but can they not find some better players, some defenders with brains would be nice, who don't play the ball back across the goal and remember the important rule "if in doubt boot it out" for clearing the ball.
I know i should not complain we did win and i am happy for Owen scoring his goals to climb higher on the all time scorer for England, although his goals we results of poor reffing. All i can say is i hope that Sven enjoys his American holiday and when some important games come along he opens his eyes, uses his brain and plays a quality team.
