What a great day

First a pay rise, now a rebate cheque for £350 on my desk which my comapny failed to pay me last month and I diddnt notice.

Eveen better get to see my friends tomorrow :o)

Back From Edinburgh

Yesterday met up with my Auntie in town and had lunch outside a nice hotel, steve and i had sausage and chips
I was lovely but for £10 i would have expected more than two big sausages and 16 chips stacked up on top of each other - fecking poncy! nice mind.

we then walked around town with my cousin to find me a pair of shorts as i was sweating my cobs off in my jeans. found a pair then went to the 3 sisters pub and sat outside in the sunshhheeeeine.

went to another pub to meet pals of ours and after a few drinks ( i was only drink irn-bru) we went to the match.

1st half was pants - we created tons of chances but couldnt score with £400 in a brothel. but then the 2nd half came and the found their shooting boots - scoring 3 (one was an own goal)

the draw is tomorrow for the 2nd round and next week is the 2nd leg of this round - so with 3 goal advantage we should be ok! on BBC scotland so will be tuning in for that!

got into work this morning at 11:30 - which is nice - didnt take a 1/2 day or anything - i will just work late tonight or sommit.

Nice Suprise

Came into work today to find after 2 months my company are so imprssed I have a 4% pay rise.

Cant be bad :O)

Superman Returns

Well James, Drew, Rusty and I went to see Superman Returns last night. Hotdog and drink in my hand I settle into the film. Begins with the same style credits from the first Superman film with Christopher Reeve, it was so fricking brilliant. We find out Superman has been away for 5 years in space, but are not really told where yet. Clark returns to the daily planet and Lex Luthor is up to his old criminal mastermind tricks (I need to point out that I read the novelization of the film online.) There were the obvious bits here and there which were omitted due to running time. The beginning of the book talks about him going back to look for Krypton after reading a newspaper article saying there may be life there still. Only to find a dead planet that is laced with Kryptonite which almost kills him. He only manages to say the word home and his crystal spaceship fly's him back to smallville, explaining the reason he collapses when Martha finds him in the field. Ok then the film and Book followed the same lines. All going good, Lex putting his plane into action, Superman returning to the world, Clarke finding out that everything has changed blah blah blah, However, there is a sudden bombshell which I do not agree with that comes towards the end of the film. I am going to have to write a letter to Brian about this problem. I totally agree with Banky from Mallrats on the whole issue!! It's just not possible and I so wrong, I had to block it out of my mind in order to enjoy the final act of the film, only to be reminded about it at the end. Wrong Wrong Wrong WRONG.

Be warned comments may contain film spoilers.

Office Space in 3-seconds re-enacted by bunnies

My Weekend

Was absolutely ace!

On Friday my good friends Ben and Jay came down to Southampton (either they really wanted to see me or just couldnt think up a poor excuse to get out of seeing me). Emma was away in Chester to see her friends one of which was going back to australia. Anyway, while the girl was away the boy could play. The boys arrived at about 7:30 friday night and we had some beers and got ready and went out to the Casino about 9pm. We decided to put £10 each into a kitty and try to win beer money for the weekend. It didnt go too well, and we had to put some extra funds in but in the end we were about a £5 short of what we paid in, which Ben looked after and we went off to a club.

Southampton is ace because of one thing... EVERYWHERE is free entry before 12. So no £5 or £10 to get in so more beers. Drinks are cheaper, music is better and clubs are bigger so more room to breathe. We spent the night in this super type club listening to some sun drenched flavours which Jay diddnt really like. But after an hour we realised we could goto the feeder bar next door which was playing some R&B which everyone was happy with and we merrily danced till the early monring.

After having no tea cos ofcourse because eating is cheating we decided we needed some sustanance before our insides imploded, so we headed off through the back lanes towards infamous "Chippy Alley" which is about 10 mins walk from the club and 5 mins walk to my flat.

Just off one of the main roads in Southampton about 4 feet away from a footpath which ran along side Asda Jay discovered a guys naked bum heaving one into a speard eagled girl. It was one of those moments where you dont want to stare but your mind is drunkedly thinking... " Surely he is not heaving one into her outside Asda???" It gets worse are you walk by and hear the faint slap slap slap of balls hitting buttocks and Jay digustedly shouting "Get a room, oh god ewwwwwwww get a god dammed room", and it dawns on you that yes indeed two ugly people are having sex outside asda. Needsless to say that became our topic of conversation for most of the weekend, and looking back, we all wished we could have sung the asda theme tune and doing the da da while walking past them.

Anyways we managed to find chippy alley where we stupidly decided to all have kebab. Also known and dead cat. After eating our fill we went to bed about 4. Next morning was spent mostly on the toilet before we headded off for some lunch. During lunch we discussed many differnet theolgical and philissophical topics such as imagining you bum was your face and your face was your bum, how would that work and also what is..... cow minus banana???? I guess you had to be there. But my sides hurt so badly from laughing I could hardly breathe. Ace!

The rest of sat afternoon was spent recovering. Em was back from chester so we had some peacefuls until about 7pm. Most noteable thing we did that afternoon was watch Erasure on MTV. We then got ready and headded off to bournemouth. Went into So bar again just to prove it wasnt a fluke and yes i can certifiably guarrantee that virtually every girl in the club was stunning. Few obvious exceptions but on the whole, 99% of that bar's clientelle is just pure talent.

One of Emma's friends Claire text me to say she was out with her brother so we headed off to a bar called Bliss which had a big downstairs dancefloor. It was more summertime flavour music, but by this point we really diddnt care. After about 4 beers me and Jay were practicly floored so we decided to dance where Jay amazingly began to dance exactly like Erasure!!!! that set the tone and we did stupid dance moves all night, shouting out various topics like "Cowboy dance" and "Asda Price", "Erasure". We were getting pretty good at it too until I ruined it by shouting "Nipples" and ripping shirt open in a Magnum Pi style which caused Ben and Jay to almost collapse with laughter. Anyways we seen claire and jay verified "Shes pretty fit" and headded home about 2.

Spent sunday saying goodbye to the boys and saying hello to Em and Em's sister and her Boyfriend Steve. I slept most the afternoon away but had a nice evening with the girl.

Have to say by pure comedy that had to be one of best weekends and cheers for coming down Ben and Jay was simply ace and I hope Ben it was a good start to your birthday week for you.

My Birthday Weekend by Ben Cornelius Aged 28

FRIDAY
Well it all started on Friday, forgot my lunch so went hungry all day until 6 pm when I got home and ate 4 left over sausages which were meant for my sandwich at lunch that I did not make. Then it was off to Jay's to set off for Southampton to see Sparkle. Had a nice drive down there took 1h40ish. Once at Sparkles, which is the hottest flat in the world due to geothermal heating, we basically started drinking. At about 9ish we head off into town, on the way we stumble into the Casino, we all chuck £10 in and play the roulette, win some, lose some, lose some more. I also go off and play Blackjack up, down, even, down, up and back to even. We ended up leaving the casino with £40 in the kitty for drinksI i also robbed one of Sparks £5 chips walked over to the blackjack laid it down told hIm i would win him money, got blackjack right away and gave him back £12.50. We left the casino and went to a club, money ready to pay at the door, but it was free so more for the bar. VK was £2 a bottle so Jay and I had those and sparks drank Vodka Redbull. Once the kitty was spent we kept buying more and got very very very drunk. The main room we were in played Dance and we were not having the best of times until we went to another room that had the R'n'B that Jay and I needed. So we danced and drank and danced and drank some more. Before we knew it it was 3am and home time. The alcohol was telling us to get a Kabab, so we trekked off for chip alley. Wandering this way and that making sure Sparky did not drag us into the casino again. Up this road and that, walking past shops. We take a right up past Asda, when what do we see!!! Only 10 feet away on the grass?? There is a guy with his trousers round his ankles pounding away at some lucky lady who is laid on her back legs in the air. Jay shouts "GET A ROOM", his rhythm is uninterrupted he was getting the Asda price. We shout various other things as we pass, Sparky stares a little too long, he was very drunk and he is nearly legally blind and it was dark his eye had to focus on the full moon in front of him. Anyway we giggle and walk on, stumble across chip alley and get a Kabab, wIich i will say now was not a good idea, although we did not know this at that point. So we eat and finally get back to sparks where we all crash out, Jay on the sofa, me in the spare room and Sparks in his room. The drink inducing an alcohol coma.

SATURDAY
Bright and eIrly i wake up, look at my watch and see it is 7am, i really Iish i had closer the blinds in the room. I get up and go to the toilet. Ihen i go into the lounge to see Jay who is also awake due to the blinding sun. Stick the TV on and watch that for a bit, also start playing Ghost Recon on the 360. Stomach rumbles, back to the toilet, this continue for the rest of the morning, Jay also feels like bad. We had officially been poisoned by Captain Kabab and his alcohol army!!! By about 1 we are ready to get something to eat, its sunny outsIde, i come out and its raining like a bitch, so we go off to McDonalds for some quality family dining. Sparks also takes us to Tesco's so he can get some food for him and Emma (who had been away for the night with friends for a leaving do in Chester) We are all still a little drunk and continue to talk what can only be called utter jibberish about random stuff which started in McD's. Any way back to TescI's, i pick up a little cake for us all so we can have a slice each for my birthday. We get back to spark's flat Emma is back from Chester, we have a cuppa and lounge about a feeling ill. 7pm comes around so it is time to get ready for a night in Bournemouth, shower, get dressed decide to get something to eat on route (but don't). We head off at 7.40Ish, i drive the boys in Sparks car, which is nice if a little plastic inside, get over to B-mouth park the car and head to Bar So, get some drinks in and enjoy the view, it's just full of lovely ladies everywhere, the boys drink a couple of pints then we remember we did not put a ticket in the car for parkingI so i head back and get a ticket sorted. Ticket sorted so back at the bar, the boys realise that if they continue to drink Beer they could get messy so they switch to the spirts. I need to point out that before we left Sparks flat we saw an Erasure video on MTV, this fueled the style of dancing for the night. So we are in Bar So on the back floor with Jay and Sparks waving their arms in a windmill fashion out of time in an 80's style, but actually managing to dance better that some of the other people there!! We leave Bar So at 11 and head to another bar/club called Bliss, more drinks and more dancing, including the following (if you want a description ask for one in the comments), the Erasure again, the teen wolf, the hackie sack, the sand-the-floor karate kid, the Asda price, and other crazy styles. Looked like dicks but were too busy crying with laughter to care. By 1am-ish the weekend started to catch up with us, so we left B-mouth and headed back to Southampton for bed. Got back at just after 2am and went to sleep. I remembered to close the blinds.

SUNDAY (my Birthday)
Due to the blinds being clIsed i got to sleep in till 10.30, Woke up and Emma wished me a Happy BirthIay, i got loads of text messages and call for people wishing my Birthday celebrations, Emma made us all a nice bacon sandwich and a cup of tea (she is a superstar). We forgot to have the Iake i got the day before from Tesco and it is probably still in Sparks fridge (feel free to eat it mate and enjoy cause my other cake is now long gone). JayIand i head back for Chelts at 1, he is still a bit delicatI so i drive us back, record time back in 1h20mins. Back home to jays and we veg out and watch some TV, waiting for Drew to come back from Bristol, he was at a friends stag do. Drew gets back at 3.40pm, and its off to my Dads in Evesham for the annual Birthday Barbie. James drives over, so do Tosh, Yvette and Louise, we all eat lots of fIod, i get lots of cards and Yvette got me a cake (now all eaten). We have burgers and Hot dogs and Cheesecake and lots more, felt a little full by the end. We stayed at my dads till 9.40ish, after chatting about the previous days and other stuff, it was a good old shin-dig. Go back over to Jays, and we all watch Top Gear, apart from Drew as he went back to his parents cause he has a course Mon-Wed at UWE. After Top Gear I finally went to my house and to bed.

I must say a great big thank you to Sparks and Emma for letting us stay with them, Emma you are a great Hostess, sparks your a bit rubbish but we love you. Also thank you very much to everyone who came to the BarIie, i hope you are all full and have belly ache. Finally thanks to everyone for the Birthday cards and the messages, Love love love love love.

Old before my time :)

So I went to the hospital yesterday and had tests and xrays etc. The Dr was ace - really good and helpful. Anyway for as long as I can remember I have had problems with my joints. phsyio didn't help and it was getting on my breasts. So I was referred to a rheumatologist. He noticed I had psoriasis and then told me I have Psoriatic Arthritis. He said it wont get any worse or it shouldnt get worse as i have had it for years and dont get swelling, discolouring etc. it will just give me discomfort from time to time.

My Cubicle

“My Cubicle”
Lyrics by: Morning Sidekick
Performed by: Jym Britton
Parody on “You’re Beautiful” by James Blunt

My job is stupid my day’s a bore,
Inside this office from eight to four
Nothin’ ever happens my life is pretty bland,
Pretending that I’m working, pray I don’t get canned.

My Cubicle, My cubicle
It’s One of Sixty two
It’s my small space in a crowded place
Just a six-by-six foot booth
And I hate it that’s the truth

When I give a sigh as the boss walks by,
no one ever talks to me or looks me in the eye.
And I really should work but instead I just sit here and surf the Internet.

In My Cubicle, My cubicle
It doesn’t have a view.
It’s my small space in a crowded place
I sit in solitude.
And sometimes I sit here nude.

Vader Sessions

Vader Sessions. James Earl Jones dubs new lines for the Super Ultra Star Wars Edition

Weekends are too short

Hello

on friday night Sparks and Emma and hebba came up which was nice, we went to the boys house then we all went out. we started in J's vodka bar, then went to another pub - well thats what i thought, but instead we headed for moda. i had a bitch of a week last week and didnt really want to go clubbing, so instead left them to it and went home to carry on watching the sopranos.

Then the girls came back to mine and we all went to bed, haha not together. Saturday my brother picked me up and we went to Preston to see hearts play in a freindly - good game we won 2-1. He dropped me off then i went to meet up with everyone at the lads house again. we ended up watching deuce bigalo II. I thought it was ok, pretty funny in places - good film to veg too. toilet humour.

Sunday went into town with james, met ben too and we had lunch at montpellier wine bar, very nice sitting in the sun. i then picked yvette up and took her to the train station, she has a course in london for the next couple of days. James J and Ben came over and we watched top gear and had a we bit on xbox 360. when they left i carried on playing then watched more sopranos.

hehe zidane funnies

Here

What a rubbish end to a day...

The IT nasties have just come and removed my old computer and given me an upgraded one with a new flat screen monitor (we are so behind the times here)...sounds good doesn't it? Except in theory I have to wait at least a fortnight to get my new monitor so have been given a teeny one in the meantime. Anyway, the meanest thing is they have taken away our personal profiles which means I might not be able to use messenger EVER AGAIN on my computer. Oh dear god. That and my mouse is crap which means i'll probably do toss on the quiz in the future!!

On the plus side i've got picture messages working on my phone finally even if it is after I got a whole month of free ones. Gutted.

Best wedding...........ever

Hope Sparky and Emmas is as lavish as this!

My longer than usual weekend

ahh the joys of a 3 day weekend.

mine basically is the same as Jays, apart from sat night, I was going to go out for a couple but due to women taking ages to get ready which meant people would get into town at 10 I couldn't be arsed. So I stayed in and watched The Sopranos. I was really knackered - and I bust my ankle at footy - still wrecks.

Sunday I tidied up an my sis came over - we watched office space that was on a couple of nights before. Then Yvette came in - I cooked dinner, then we trotted over to the boys house for the final.

yesterday I had off. Yvette and I popped into Chelts for a bit as I needed to renew my passport. Then we went to brissol zoo. It was ace, had a good laugh.

We then popped into cribbs to kill sometime, I bought a couple of things for my holiday booked yesterday to Teneriffe - Aug 25th - woo hoo. And I also bought the Oakley watch I have wanted for ages - see my webcam pic/follow link. It is well cool and dead comfy.

I then came home and wathed the 1st in the 3rd series of Las Vagas - quailty program!

My Weekend

Started at 12:00 Thursday afternoon where me and Emma Drove to newcastle for her cousin's wedding. We drove the 6 hours between us up north and stayed in a hotel after going out for meal with her sisters.

Friday was wedding day and after having breakfast we headded off to the Grand Hotel Tynemouth which was very nice. Weddding went well no hiccups and it was good to see what worked and what diddnt work for our wedding come feb. After the meal they had a Kaylee band and a disco which involved me and Em's family polishing off the 10 bottles of wine left from the meal and much dancing. All got a bit messy really.

At 3am I decided to wake up and sit up bolt upright in bed only to pass back out and smash my head against the corner of the bedside cabinet. Needless to say it hurt, bled like a mofo and left me in a bit of a daze the next day. Have a nice half inch gash on my noggin. But I guess thats not much different to most weekends.

Saturday we spent the day recovering and spending time with Em's mum and dad. Seen a few sights of Tynemouth and had some lunch before we headded back to Lincoln (we couldnt be arsed to drive all the way home) and spent the night at her parents. Sunday we headded back to southampton and went to see pirates 2. Was funny as and even made em stay behind to watch the outtake after the credits.

Had a nice night in watching footie and getting ready for work sunday night before retireing to beddy byes.

Another Weekend goes by

Well what a lovely weekend...

Friday night we (Drew, Ben, JP, Tosh, Yvette, Louise and I) met up in the Frog for a couple of drinks before going to the cinema to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

We got out of the cinema at half 12 a little tired but worth it as the film was ace.

On Saturday Drew. Tosh and I played in what turned out to be a 9 a-side footie tournament (Ben also made a cameo appearance in the last game), unfortunately we didn't play to our usual standards so didn't win (won 1 drew 2 and lost 1)but caught a bit of sun which was nice.

Ben, Drew, JP and I went out on Saturday night with my bro, his girlfriend and his girlfriends sister for a couple of cheekies in the Strand then on to Blush (which was very hot) for a few more and a bit of a boogie...Very enjoyable and a good time was had by all.

Yesterday was spent sleeping before getting some lunch and watching the tennis. We then had many visitors (Tosh, Yvette, Louise, JP, Emma and Annie) round to watch the World Cup Final and Zidane going mental.

Good game and i'm glad Italy won. Well done to my brother who won the Fantasy league by 11 points from myself, Panda has to suffer the humiliation of having been beaten by his missus (although they did finish level on points).

Cat came 5th closely followed by Amy, then came Sparks who may have been better off sticking with his original team.

Benji was next followed by Drew who managed to score good points in most rounds but never get himself off the bottom few.

Poor old Tosh came 10th as he was unable to change his team on Sat when he realised Lehman wasn't playing and bringing up the rear with his aptly named team was JP who was punished for picking too many Portuguese.

Look forward to the new Premiership season where we can all play in a league again.

Blog Update

I just remembered that everthing since the blog started have been emailed to a Gmail account, which currently total over 1700 emails consisting of posts and comments made by everyone. But since it is all text it only takes up 3mb.

Does anyone have any ideas on changes to make to our wonderful Blog, links you would like, such as to peoples MySpace or to Your own wedding page maybe (Sparks)

Speaking of Sparks where has he gone? and John for that matter both seem to have fallen silent. Brokeback moment times for the two of them?

Hey all

Hello everyone

Well it's about time i posted on here...not that i've got a lot of news! Thank f**k it's friday, what a cruddy week at work i've had! I'm attempting to take it easy today but my boss keeps loitering in the office and stopping my msn convo to Tosh! (Someone who is obviously equally busy at work since he's managed to sort out my myspace picture and made me a colour that my fake tan can't! Yay!)

So what have you all got planned for the weekend? I think mine will consist of wine and football and maybe a bit of shopping if I can be bothered. I better have a look at my fantasy footie teams and do some tweaking for these last games since i'm doing rubbish in both leagues now! Grrrrr.

What are your plans for the weekend then?

Dont let Ronaldo win

If you only do one thing today, do this.

There is a very real danger that Cristiano Ronaldo will be voted the fans'
best young player at the World Cup despite his pouting, diving, pretty boy antics designed mainly to get himself a lucrative transfer to Real Madrid and thus avoid the good kicking he deserves from Wayne Rooney at Manchester United training.

He is currently 1st in the FIFA voting just ahead of Luis Valencia of Ecuador. Please can everyone go to
here

and do the decent thing by voting for Valencia.
It doesn't matter who you support or if you haven't seen them play, just stop Ronaldo.

Takes 30 seconds...You know it makes sense!!!!

What I did on my summer holiday....

By Theo Walcott Esq

I went to a place called Germany with my Uncle Sven and some other grown up's. It is a country in Europe where a bad man called Adolf used to live with his nazties, he does not live there anymore, Uncle Owen does live there, and the grown up's say I cant talk about the bad man as it will make Uncle Owen cry if I do. In Germany there are lots of castles and some mountains. We are staying in a place called Baden Baden that's a silly name, Uncle Frank has the same name as his dad, that's silly too, his mum must get their underpants mixed up all the time.

On the aeroplane Uncle Sol sat next to me, he got me some toffee and wants to be my friend, he works at the place where I do my YTS, so does Uncle Freddy but him and Uncle Sol are not best friends anymore.

Uncle Owen met us at the airport, he talks foreign, Uncle Wayne, Uncle Steven and Uncle David also talk funny, my mum says Uncle David talks like Orville, he is a duck, Uncle Sol say's uncle David wears dresses and knickers, and asked me if I had ever worn them. Uncle Sol got me some pop.

In Germany the grown ups are going to play football, my grandad says we beat them in the olden days before my mum was born. That is a long time ago.

While the grown up's went to play football so I went shopping with Auntie Vicky and some other girls she bought me a big ice cream and got herself a little one but she said she was full before she had eaten any and threw it away. She bought lots of shoes and handbags and let me play with Brooklyn. She say's she used to be in a pop band and sang me one of her songs, I think she was telling fibs.

I told Uncle Sol about my day out with Vicky and he sulked, then he bought me an even bigger ice cream with lots of hundred's & thousands on it.

All the other grown up's have a girlfriend except Uncle Sol so he plays with me while they go out. Uncle Sven says I must keep Uncle Sol happy, that's why I got taken on holiday.

The grown up's went to play Football against somebody called Sweden, Uncle Sol was crying as Uncle Freddy played for them and would not talk to him. Uncle Sol bought me lots of toffee today and some crisps. Uncle Sven is from Sweden and I heard him on the phone to their boss last night. Uncle Michael hurt his knee and had to go home to his mum for a plaster. Uncle Peter is a giant, a proper giant like you see in books, he is rubbish at football though.

Uncle Wayne had a sore toe at the start of out holiday but it got better so they let him play football. Uncle Sol got me a present but I do not like it. He says all Germans wear leather underpants and I should while we are here, they are too tight for me.

All the grown up's started to call Uncle Wayne a potato head who stood on somebodys spuds. He got shouted at by the referee. They are all saying that we have to go home now. Uncle Sol was crying again and I had to sit on his knee to make him stop. He had his mobile phone in his pocket, I think.

My Weekend

Had a relatively chilled wekeend. Went out friday night with Em to see Boathouse which was ok. Then went off to Cardiff and down to the athletics stadium where me and Em watched April run the 4 X 100 relay for her school in the Welsh School champtionship. She did well although her team came last... but wasnt her fault, she was 3d in the relay team and managed to go from last to 2nd but her 4th teammate let them down. Watch that football game and Ronaldo needs to be fucking dragged through the streets by his ass hair. Nob.

Spent sat night in with folks making wedding plans then did shome shiopping sunday before returing back home. Pretty chilled and enjoyable weekend

Jeff Martinez

At E and Roos BBQ, one of my sisters pals was their with her husband Jeff (or Jim to Drew) nice couple, knew Sarah from when my sis was at uni and met Jeff a farir few times too, anyway i knew he wsa a singer/songwriter but I didnt know he has a CD out, Louise and I listened to it on the way to my Nanas - i loved it, really good! You can buy it on itunes - i have ripped it to my ipod so you can have a listen those who live near by, but you can listen to it here and you can actually get it on Itunes! My weekend

Friday night I spent the evening with Yvette, had a lovely night.

Saturday went to a guy from works family and friend fun weekend - basically his family own a MASSIVE mansion and grounds and it is used as a school. Every year when school has finished all the family invite friends and other members of the family over (and the teachers come to) then you can do whatever - volleyball, football, cricket, croquet etc. People can stay for the whole weekend and thy have different entertainment on too. It is really cool.

we left just after the England game. I have to say England were unlucky- 10 men for a lot of the time and had lots of chances just didn't finish them. Becks should have come off long before that as lennon was ace. Down to penos and we all know what England's like at penos. Its all in their heads!

After the game we drove to Roo and E's for Roos birthday which was a quality night- BBQ. Lots of people were there - including most of the people on this blog.

Sunday I took my sister down to Newbury to see my Nana, I took them out for lunch then printed off some pics for my Nana on my wee digital camera printer. We chewed the fat for a while then came back to Chelts and watched the last 2 episodes of Lost MY GOD IT IS SHIT! I swear I was seeing things when watching that - just like the people on the island - in the background I was seeing this horse being flogged!

Then I watched Demolition man - minted! :)
