Jays weekend
Well I thought id write about my weekend seeing as everyone else has.
On Friday went to X Men III which was good although I was a bit tired after being on a work jolly the night before so didn't go out with James, Tosh and Ben.
Saturday morning me and Drew played in a 5 a-side football tournament which we won. That's our 3rd trophy of the year (Drew has 4 as he won top goalscorer).
After going home and getting changed we decided to go out for lunch and stay out for the duration. We had a nice lunch at Tailors then went to Q's to watch the playoff game, met my bro, his bird, her sister and another mate. We played a few games of pool, Ben met up with us and we went to Blush. Needless to say we were fairly drunk by the end of it all.
Sunday Drew went home and my bro et al went to Bath so I watched the Grand Prix then Ben came over, we watched the end of Lost Season2 and some telly.
Yesterday I did the garden which was fun but needed doing as the grass was about 3ft long and the weeds were starting to grow into the house. Drew came home and we watched Smallville which was good for once.
Gonna watch the England game tonight and hopefully Sparks is coming to visit on Friday.
Looking forward to the World Cup we are going to have a bbq at ours for the first England game next Saturday, all are invited.

What a great weekend
Had an awesome weekend with Emma down in Southampton.
On Friday we went out and played some badmington together was really good, had a nice tea together and chilled out.
Saturday we decided to get some wedding plans sorted so we went off in search of a honeymoon with a great result.
We have booked ourselves a trip to Thailand flying on the 24th Feb and arriving at 6:00am in Bangkok on the 25th where we are chauffeured to our hotel for 2 nights which is The LandMark Hotel. Because we are honeymooners we have an automatic upgrade to corner suite which is ace. During our two days there we will see the Emperors Palace and the Floating market.
From Bangkok we head to north Thailand for 6 Days on a guided tour of the River Kwai, Chang Mai and Chang Rai ending up in the Golden Triangle. On the tour we get to see palaces, the tribes and elephant rides haha.
After our tour we head back to Bangkok and then fly to Phuket staying in the idyllic Evason Six Senses Resort for a further 7 nights. Awesome again cos its both my birthday and Honeymoon apparently we get free upgrades, dinner for 2, champers, chocolates and our pillows ebrodiered with our names. Ace :o) Cant wait.

Not a single restaurant was around in the town centre bar fast food places and basically all Portsmouth people are fat, spotty and ugly or chavy. Bit like Gloucester So don't ever go there if you can help it.
Sunday me and Emma went off for a picnic to some lakes just south of Guilford which was nice, came home watched top gun the celeb x factor with moyles being the highlight by far.
So all in all a great weekend.

Morning
Well, it's lovely here at work, no students, radio on...
Weekend was very dull. The fella was away yet again, he's moving to Stow (quite close to you guys I think) this weekend coming so was off sorting that out again. It will mean I will be moving again at some point, not sure where yet exactly - I can't face thinking about that yet!!
We managed to get some bridesmaids shoes at last though i'm not sure any of us really like them. 3 Day Weekend

On friday me, Yvette, Drew, J, James and Ben went to see Xmen III. I thought it was really good. great way to end the franchise.
Ben me and James went to blush afterwards and had a few drinky poos. had a really good laugh too.
Saturday I bought a new DVD player and james got a xbox 360, ben got food.
once the DVD player was hooked up we played on one of james new games on my 360 and mine games too. had a good afternoon/evening.
Sunday I went to cardiff with my sister to see my bro and sister in law - 1st time since coming back from their honeymoon- they had a good time.
Yesterday i got up and did a bit of washing and made sure Yvette had enough stuff to get her through another day of revising then i watched Revolver - not that bad actauly - the yanks would of hated it as you need to think about it. for the rest of the afternoon i played an assortments of games.
Last night I went to bens to watch Sharpe, i got the box set for xmas and when ben lived at ours thats what we tried to get through. that was good.

Watched the finale of lost season 2 this morning and it at last starts to answer some of the questions but oh boy does it raise some more. Very good, really enjoying the lost series its alot different to everything else out there. Anyways I suggest anyone with half decent connection download them and watch them, its a lot better than sitting around waiting for Ch4 to air them.
I would say to get the most out Lost you have to watch this series CLOSELY!! You cant miss things like books sawyer reads and songs listened to and, the manufacturer of certain things, places people have been. The links this season are on a lot of different levels. Oh and amy did you notice during hurley's dream where Jin speaks English, Walt was on the milk carton with words Missing? I think things like that are ace.
Anyways, hope your all good what you have planned for bank hols?

Hair Update
Hello all
Incase you are interested my hair looks margionally better having just spent two and a half hours in the college salon! One of the teaching staff had to do it this time just to rectify the mess made before. They suggest I come in and have some more done in a week or so but that's dangerously close to Sarah's wedding and I don't want to be a bridesmaid with dodgy hair!!

My Hair
I had my hair done at the college salon last night - the usual highlights and a cut, but this time it looks horrible! I am getting them to change it but they can't do it until tomorrow lunchtime so i'm stuck with it for the day. Gutted!!

My Weekend
Went to Cardiff this weekend as it was my dad's 60th birthday. Was really fun. Watched Da Vinci code Friday which was ok, thought Hanks was very poor though, thank god for Ian McKellen. Was a good film but it just didn't excite like the book.
Saturday drove to Cardiff, and went out for a meal with Mum and Dad and a few of their friends. Sunday was my dad's surprise party, which he had no clue about. Got to show Emma off to the family which was lovely and meet up with some of my old friends as well. Me and Emma also had an engagement cake which was lovely.
Monday also had off which was great and I stopped by and caught up with some friends from the Sport Council for Wales. Then traveled back to Southampton and played some badmington with Emma. So all in all a great weekend.

Weekend
On Friday I went to London to play for my work football team at Highbury (Arsenal's ground) against Tesco.
Had a great day, stopped at the new stadium on the way (looks amazing), arrived at the ground at about 1pm and had a little tour around, then got changed in Arsenals changing room which was massive but not very modern as the ground is over 100 years old. Had a brief team talk and were given programmes which had been specially made. The buzzer went off meaning it was kick off so we lined up in the tunnel and went onto the pitch.
The game itself wasn't great...we lost 6-1 but Tesco had been training together for 3 months for the game with their own coach and we had never played together. We were 3-1 down at half time and missed a couple of chances early in the 2nd half but evenually some of our older players legs went and we conceded 3 late goals. I played about 60 minutes and did ok but really enjoyed the game, my brother was watching with about 200 other people.
After we had showered and changed we walked around taking pictures and then went to the Directors bar where all the beer was free so we all had a few, then we went ino the boardroom to have food.
Went downstairs and saw Lee Dixon (ex-Arsenal player) who was signing the wall in the entrance which all the current and quite a few ex-players are signing before the ground closes and they move to the new stadium.
We went back to our hotel and got changed then went out, a few whiskies and zambuca's later we were back drinking at the hotel and went to bed about 4am.
Spent Saturday travelling home and chilling out, watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Just Friends on dvd.
Sunday I went into town and popped round Tosh's for a bit of xbox action.
Home today, Drew is home too as he is ill, but working tomorrow and Weds then away for 2 days at a conference...great...bring on the weekend again.

After feeling pretty toss for 3 weeks I finally went to the Doctor yesterday to find out what is wrong with me - this eventually involved fours lots of blood being taken.
Today it turns out I have Glandular Fever.
Apparently it can take ages to get rid of, hopefully not so for me. One of my friends has already commented that if it came down to it he'd rather see Rooney fit than me. I'm hoping that I get full sick pay.
Will keep you posted on Fever Watch.

My weekend in Southampton
After popping in to see my nephew who was just turned 4, Drew and i made our way down to sunny Southampton to see our friend Sparky.
We decided to fore-go tea on Friday and just went straight out a decision which was later proved to be a poor one.
Sparks didn't really know Southampton that well so we walked around, saw a nice bar but were refused entry because i have a tattoo on my arm and that means i am highly dangerous.
We eventually went into another bar just down the road had a couple of pints then went to some club which was rubbish but served vodka redbull for a pound so we took advantage of this offer.
After a while we had had enough and so moved on to another club which again wasn't great but they did have a "live" performance from a Five tribute band, everybody loves a bit of Five.
Sparky was a broken man at this point and having disappeared to the toilets Drew went to look for him, returning with the shell of Sparky who said "i need to go home dude".
Don't know how he did it but he managed to guide us back to his puking over a bridge on the way and we deposited him into bed with a bucket, Drew and i then went back out to get some food, returned to find Sparks comatose in bed.
We were up and about at 9am the next morning got ready and went to have some brekkie and look round the shops. We got back just in time to watch the FA Cup final which was a minted game (whilst keeping an eye on Hearts v Gretna via the phone). We discussed going to Bournemouth that night but decided we would go out in Southampton again as it would be easier.
So we went to the casino first, Drew and i lost about £20 each and Sparks after being £60 down at one point ended up with £180 in his wallet after getting 3 numbers in a row on roulette. We went on then to a different club which was pretty big and full of ladies and proceded to drink ourselves into a stuper. No sickness though and we returned home to watch Ricky Hatton going to bed at about 4:30am.

Unlucky Gretna
On Friday i Drove my sister and Cat up to Edinburgh. Jay and Yvette were going to come but Yvette needed to go out - sorry revise. and J needed to go to his nephews - sorry go to Sparks! so i had to get rid of TWO cup final tickets. I did, to my Cousins pals, who were very nice.
Got to Edinburgh at 12:30 and basically went to bed - well after a drink of juice and a whole packet of prawn crackers my mum bought with her Chinese.
Saturday i woke up early and was excited. I went and got papers, had brekkie and watched Sky sports news. My cousin Laura picked me up and we went to meet Davie and his step daughter Ashley and made our way to Glasgow to meet Ally for our tickets.
Got to a pub at 11:30 and got tickets - kinda relaxed as we had them. we went to the ground early to buy programmes and soak up that atmosphere. Hearts were going to win! everyone knew it. what could go wrong?
The game kicked off, Hearts attacked straight away. near miss then in the 8th min we hit the post - we hit it 5 more times!
then we tried to walk the ball into the back of the net instead of just shhoting. We were playing showboating footy, but not very good showboating.

2nd half some of our team didnt come out of the dressing room, or so it seemed. Gretna played simple triangle football which was very effective, but thank goodness they buckled in front of goal.
They then got a peno. and Scored it. 2nd division Gretna in a fairy tale season were 1-1 in the Scottish cup final against 2nd in premiership. oh dear God!
they almost scored another. an amazing run skipping past lackluster Hearts players into the box but then Robbie Neilson slid in with an AMAZING tackle to prevent Gretna scoring what would have been the winner!
Hearts should of had a peno themselves but was denied - oh dear this might be Gretnas day.
Full time 1-1 extra time! Hearts started to play again. carving Gretna open but couldnt find the net. Gretna seemed to be holding on to penaltys wher ethey had a chance - anyone has a chance in a penalty shoot out.
all the way through the match i was texting my bro in Egypt. Told him Penos! He rang me. I had to give him running commentary all the way through. i was SSOOOO nervous. 1-0 Hearts - the captain Pressley scored.

The next day we went to Tynecastle and watch them parade the cup. was really good. Then i drove back to chelts last night - got in at 12. knackered. oh well it was worth it.
I will remember the victory NOT the performance.
Got to Edinburgh at 12:30 and basically went to bed - well after a drink of juice and a whole packet of prawn crackers my mum bought with her Chinese.
Saturday i woke up early and was excited. I went and got papers, had brekkie and watched Sky sports news. My cousin Laura picked me up and we went to meet Davie and his step daughter Ashley and made our way to Glasgow to meet Ally for our tickets.
Got to a pub at 11:30 and got tickets - kinda relaxed as we had them. we went to the ground early to buy programmes and soak up that atmosphere. Hearts were going to win! everyone knew it. what could go wrong?
The game kicked off, Hearts attacked straight away. near miss then in the 8th min we hit the post - we hit it 5 more times!
then we tried to walk the ball into the back of the net instead of just shhoting. We were playing showboating footy, but not very good showboating.

Well what an eventful weekend i've had, shame it's gone way too quickly really.
On Saturday my car broke down at the front of a massive queue of traffic at some traffic lights on one of the busiest roads in Exeter!! - the clutch cable literally snapped off so I couldn't put it into gear. How embarrassing!! Luckily some men pushed it out of the way and I had to call the RAC to rescue me!
Time for a new car I think!

Another Weekend bites the dust
Well i have had another thrilling weekend of work. Overtime Saturday and Sunday, free lunches one of which was a roast dinner yum yum. Other than that i did not really do anything this weekend, but i do know that i have been to work everyday for the last 15 days straight. I am shattered need some sleep zzzzzzzzzzzz

Skiing
Bonjourno
A few of us want to go skiing/snowboarding/sledging next year (end of feb time – after sparks and ems wedding) and so I am getting numbers so we can look at getting a massive chalet and split the costs.
Sparks you will probably be on your honeymoon but thought id better ask anyway :D

I might be able to get a chalet with some of my contacts in Austria so could be even cheaper.
But let me know if you are interested.

Fantasy football
Well done to Colin who was victorious in the fantasy football this season. He has been 2nd or 1st for most of the season and fully deserves his win.
On the final week with a inspired selection of Henry and Pires Col clocked up 96 points to make a total of 3237, 29 points ahead of Daryl (dont know if i spelt that right) who racked up 76 points for a total of 3208, his team have had a strong 2nd half to the season and finished 4 points ahead of my team.
After a couple of horrendous selection errors in the final week (Drogba and Van Nistelrooy didnt play) i scored 76 points to finish on 3204 and third place.
Mr Toshack took 4th despite having a poor last week (he was on holiday) scoring 21.5 points to finish on 3077 good last few weeks from Tosh who won 3 out he last 5 weeks.
Surging into 5th was JP who top scored on the last week with 105 points to claim a total of 2647 and 6th was poor old Sparky who was leading or 2nd all the way up to the last 5 weeks where he left a player out therefore scoring no points for the week, instead of amending this error he continued to leave his team a player short and consequently lost 5 weeks worth of points meaning he went from 1st to 6th scoring a massive 0 points in the final week total:2609.5.(muppet)
Bringing up the rear a few points behind were Ben and Amy both of which i fear could never be arsed to change their teams, Ben scored 18 points for total of 2062 ans Amy a meagre 33 points for 1893.5.

Laptop and car back woo hoo!
I finally have my laptop back and my car is being delivered today, not really much point though as ive just had a new one ordered which should be coming at the end of the month.
Glad you all had a good time in Venice, i went with James and his folks last year it was cool.
Well not much news since Toshs bro's wedding (which was minted and Tosh's speech was brilliant).
Friday night we had a bbq at ours with Ben and Sara, my bro his bird and her sister and of course Drew.
We got a bit drunk so me and Drew decided to go out after we had our fill of food, had a wicked night but bit hungover on Sat.

I have had 8 work days off and I am SOOOOO glad to be back at work on this minging rainy day.
On Wednesday my dad and myself joined James and his dad (and Maurice who came to Venice too) and went to silverstone to watch F1 Practices - minted it was. It was good as it was free but also we could walk around the whole of the track so we weren't in one place.
Thursday I was making sure my best mans speech was ok, added a few things and made a few changes. Also ran through it.
Friday drover to Cardiff, basically I was taxi service - picking people up, dropping them off picking more up etc. Friday night we all went out.
I don't have a printer but I knew my brother did, so I went to print out my best man speech on the Friday at my bros. My laptop didn't find the printer. Started to sweat. Thought USB drive so I can print it on my bros. My bros laptop is NT - doesn't recognize USB drives. Started to shit myself. Thought, the internet, got a connection but couldn't connect through bros work firewall. So tried dial up NONE of the 3 phone lines he had in his office would work properly. Started to sweat, shit myself and feel sick. Thought I could take the USB drive to a printers in town the next morning - the DAY of the wedding and print it out. So I went to bed (this was about 1am) at 4am I woke up, really crapping myself - so I went and tried again.
I looked in my bros shelves and Hallelujah, there was the disc with the drivers on it that my bro didnt know where it was. slammed the disc in and woo hoo it worked, printed it off just at 4:20am as Yvette came into the office and I was saying i am printing i am printing woo hoo, she went "thats nice" and went back to bed.
In the morning we got up and the ushers came over to get into our KILTS NOT Skirts Sparky! then off to Llandaff cathedral. What a place! massive.
We got pictures taken and saw Sparks and Em - i was getting nervous Sparky, but that was just incase the lappy and projector didnt work for the speech and I was nervous for my Bruv too. But you could have stayed for the wedding.
The wedding was great, we had 65 odd people in the choir, some hymns were in welsh so me and steven were at the front just trying not to laugh as we didnt have a clue - luckily we were not facing everyone! when it came to the Our Father prayer - Mezz's side mostly said it in Welsh and my bruvs side said it in English - so that was cool.
After the wedding off to the reception. I tried my lappy again and it worked! projector worked! my best man speech had a slideshow of really bad pics of my bruv.
The meal was ace - well most of mine was, for some reason I didnt feel like eating. My speech had a video clip of steven acting in 1987 so was worried that wouldnt work.
Then it came to the speeches, people were asking me how many slides etc so they could work out how long, I was telling some poeple 40 slides so the bets were that I would take 40mins or somone even said 60mins! i actually took 21mins! :D People were saying it wa ace but i did bomb at a few of the jokes hahaha but got around them a wee bit. Yvette and J can tell you how i went :D - oh and Ben as he watched it last night
Steve and Mez gave me a Hearts signed shirt for my pressie! it is minted! what a gift!
Then we got drunk and had a good party.
The next day we were all at my brothers house and watched Hearts beat Celtic at Celtic Park 3-0! back O the net!
Monday Yvette and I drove to East midlands Shed - sorry airport and went with James (JP on the blog), his mum and dad and some other couples and went to Venice. What a lovely place. we got off the plane and got on a boat (taxi) to our hotel, we stepped off the boat into the lobby - how cool!
for the next 5 days we wandered around looking at beautiful buildings, eating loads (put on a stone i think ;)) and drunk a fair bit. I got battered on Thursday. drank 1/3 of bottle of whisky on the balcony James mum and dad had - needed finishing, then went out for a meal just with Yvette and drunk 3 wine and strawberry cocktails and 2/3rds a bottle of wine - dont even like wine. on the way back we bumped into james and his ma and pa and we sat with them, i got a chair from the other table- thought they were italian so tried my best to say excuse me can i have the chair- they were really english haha
told everyone i was fucked and kept on showing people a postcard of the resturant we were in saying "we just ate there it was grreeeeeetttt"
James' dad and i both were wearing same coloured trousers and black polo neck and walking in front of the rest who said we were like twins - so i for some reason dropped my trousers! they all thought i was funny! i just giggle when pissed! I got back to the hotel room went to bed, got up about 10mins later rushed to the bathroom and barffed! Yvette had never seen me that drunk before and never had to help me when i was sick - so not bad in 4 years.
The next morning i had a hangover which i dont usually get! Yvette and James thought this was funny. we had a few hours to spare so we got on a boat and jame me and Yvette went on a 55min trip round venice. twas cool.
Venice was really nice, well worth going to see, some beautiful places to see and great food.
On Saturday me james and Yvette went to see MI3 at the cinema - thought it was ok, just a mindless popcorn flick, storyline is wank, action is good acting is ok - apart from Philip J hoffman who was ace.
After that we went back to mine and watched Munich on DVD - minted film!
Yesterday Yvette was at work so i did washing and tidied the flat. then ben and sara came over - they left and Louise my sis came over with cat and then E and Roo came over - they all left at 10 - so didnt really have a night in with yvette that i hoped! never mind
ohh and for the last 2 nights at about 3am a car alarm goes off - really annoying!
well that will do for me here are a couple of pics - mmm cant upload them - i will try later - my 11000 emails have now been sorted so better get to work!

My Bank Hols
Hello ppls - hope you are all well.
Well my Bank hols started on Friday night - like most peoples probably ;o). Em and me had a nice evening together, played some badminton where she kicked my butt 3 - 0. Quit smoking on the Monday so was still feeling the crappy withdrawals.Saturday was April's birthday so travelled to Cardiff to see her. She is 11 now, and turning into a nice moody teenager. Ace. Anyway, before we seen her Em and I dropped by the Wedding of Tosh's bro just to see Yve, Our Tosh and Jay. All seemed very nice, felt a bit like Wedding crashers though, but I don’t know if that was because we had no official invite or the fact most the men were wearing skirts. Anyways, we stopped by for a quick hello, took some pictures and headed off before the men started to compare sporran’s (yup I know that’s probably how its not spelt!). I think Tosh was nervous a bit cos he kissed me after saying his goodbyes to Em. Hmmmm
Went to see the child and took her off to a castle and had a bit of a ramble across the lovely Welsh Countryside.Spent sat night in with my parents, which was cool, then Em and I headed back to Southampton early Sunday.
Sunday afternoon Em and I went to Bournemouth to visit some of her new physio girlies. Was cool night although I felt crap with stomach pangs (prob the no smoking) so couldn’t really drink or enjoy myself. But it was nice to see some of Bournemouth and meet Ems new friends. One of which was very interested in little Jay (then again all women are, not really news that).
Monday Em and me spent most of it in bed and it was great, no driving anywhere, was really nice just to spend some time together. We then took a walk in the park and looked around the Chinese circus that’s in Southampton, but we didn’t go and see it in the end.So all in all a good bank hols.
Its mine and Em's anniversary this weekend (official) so thinking of stuff to spoil her with. Hope your all good and looking forward to catching up with you all next week.

Weekend
My weekend was quite eventful - I went up to London (well the outskirts) for my friend Sarah's hen day/night (those of you from Chelt might remember her when she came up to visit.)
We went to Sandown racecourse for some betting. I lost everything I bet on but only put the minimum £2 bet each time so only lost about £10. We had these team games where the money we won was going to our evening drinking fund - we won £220 which was good.
For dinner we went to a mexican restaurant - it cost us all £12 each thanks to our winnings. We also drank lots of tequila which wasn't very nice!!
After dinner we got refused entry from loads of places because we were a big hen party group but eventually one club let us in for free and we drank more shots and more wine. Went to bed in the hotel about 3.30am having been up since 6.30am! I was so tired!
Sunday I got my lift back to Devon and spent the afternoon spaced out on the sofa - not hungover surprisingly just tired! Yesterday I just started reading the Da Vinci Code and got about 3/4 way through in one go, I wasn't expecting it to be very good so I am impressed with it. I will go and see the film now.
Today back to work but it's a non pupil day which is great and i've been on staff training all day. Looks like you all won't be around most of the week :(

What a Week End
OK so here we go for the weekend activities.
FRIDAY-Get a text from Drew saying he and Russ are off out for a couple of beers so if i want i should come over. So i have my tea and head over the Cheltenham to pick the boys up and go into town. We went to The Slug for a couple of drinks then went on to Blush for a few more, Blush was dead to begin with did not start getting busy till 11.20ish after we had been there for an hour. Once people came in it got better. Little Kate from college came in with her friend Amy (Amy thought Drew was called Ruth for some reason when i introduced him and Russle), they were a little bladdered. Were sitting on the sofa's and having a laugh. Drew and Russle were on the Beers i had chosen to drive so was on the Cola. Drew started to drink Turbo Shandies which Russ saw and started to drink. After a few more rounds Drew managed to break Russle!! Poor old Russ had too much Alcomohol and was in a bad state, before we left i think he went and emptied his bowels. I took the boys home and then drove back to mine. Then watched a film
SATURDAY-Got up at 1ish and got ready and went over to Drew's to keep him company as Jay, Tosh, Yvette had gone to Stephen's wedding at his house and Russ went to his birds. We spent the day watching TV and films, had a Giant Star Burger for lunch and felt very full afterwards. Went home after watching the 100 funniest moments on TV (E4).
SUNDAY- Travelled down to see Sara, cooked the family Sunday dinner whilst Sara did her Dissertaion work.
MONDAY- Watched films whilst Sara finished off her Diss, at 9pm she was done, Diss was bound and she was packed and ready to leave for Cheltenham, drove her back. Took her to Shona's so she could go out for the night, she is in Alton Towers today. I went home and went to bed ready for work.
TUESDAY- At work, waiting for 4pm to come round so i can go home, have got tomorrow off work so i can take Sara to college to hand in her Diss. So i will catch you all on Thursday.
