Bad Weather = Long waits
Apparently a lorry rolled over this morning on the motorway so it took me an hour to drive a mile and a half so I could get off a the right junction to get to work.

Dublin
It is nice.
conference starts at 2 so i better go in a mo :D
I went to bed last night at 9:30 and woke up at 8:15 mmmm it was good. the reason i was so knackered is that on monday i was called out from 10pm till 4am! and then up at 5 to catch a plane which i missed by two mins (the checkin just closed.......bastards) as the taxi driver went a stupid way. so me and the other bloke had to pay £40 for the nextflight which was at 1:30 - so we had to stay in Brissol Airport till then so from 8:30 till 1:30 i was bored - well i did have my bosses PSP to play with - I want one it is ace :D

BBC Charter (This is Why we pay)
The BBC Royal Charter
The BBC is a unique institution. Unique in the role it plays in public life. Unique in the way it is funded. Unique in the place it holds in the public’s affections.
Nearly all of us watch or listen to the BBC as well as the other public service broadcasters - ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and S4C. Whether through coverage of news and sporting events like the FA Cup, popular shows like EastEnders, or current affairs programmes like Panorama, the BBC plays a daily role in most of our lives. It is an essential part of what defines us as a nation. It is a distinctive voice that we turn to in good times and in bad.
The BBC’s activities are currently governed by a Royal Charter - a document that shapes the BBC, setting out what it is for, what it does and how it does it. The first Charter began on 1 January 1927. The current charter, the eighth, will expire on 31 December 2006.
Charter Review
Since 1927, a review has been carried out every 10 years or so to see how the BBC is serving the public and to consider its future. This process, called Charter Review, has now started.
Anyone with a television pays a licence fee. The BBC is funded by that licence fee. That gives all licence fee payers a stake in its future.
This Charter review process will be open, wide-ranging, with full public and industry consultation and with an appropriate parliamentary stage. It will bring together many strands of work including that by Ofcom and the reviews of the BBC's digital services, BBC Online and BBC News Services.
Once this latest Charter review is completed, we will be able to consider what the BBC of the future will look like.

Free Ipod's
Free Ipod
I am trying to get an Ipod Nano for free.
All You have to do is Click above link, create an account with them (just email and Password and home addy (so they can ship an ipod to you) then sign up for one of the offers, I just got 2 Dvd's for £10 (which I already wanted and cheaper than a store) Since we all buy DVDs thought you might be interested anyways and maybe get a free ipod with it. All you have to do then is forward on the link and a shiney new ipod is yours.
I googled the site and it is one of the legit sites - lots of Ipods already been recieved see:
Anything4Free
Be warned it takes 2-3 days for the signup to be credited to your account and turn off any popup blockers when you goto one of the offers as a pop up window will give you instructiosn on what to do.
Worth a go, esp if your gonna buy some DVD's anyways

Scott Mills is Crap
Radio One has lost a listener until Moyles returns from his holiday cause Mills is rubbish. He is a dull boring arse who is not funny at all, i think porridge is funnier than him.
Because he is on in the morning i don't listen to Jo Whiley or Colin and Edith cuase i am just listening to MP3's all day. Yvette said yesterday she turned over to Wogan on Radio 2 so she did not have to listen to Scott Mills. That does not help Chris Moles fan base after his campaign of "Say No To Wogan"

Why Why Why.....
Now it was foggy this morning on my way to work, visability of approx 300 yards (less in some places). So why did some stupid woman drive three feet off by bumper without her lights on as i drove past GCHQ?
Once i got on the motorway more crazy people did the same sort of thing! I was going a steady 70mph and people are zooming by with sidelights on at around 100mph. Now really are they in a rush to die?

Stupid Quiz
Two days in a row I have put the correct answers in on certain questions and when you get the results back it's told me that i haven't put them in right....
Todays one was...what film did pierce brosnan star in? Golden... a) face b) eye c) arm d) toe (or some choices as random as that) Now I know the answer to that, and I also check that I am checking the boxes properly and it came back that i'd answered wrong.
Grrrrr.
Rant over.

CGCHE Old Skool
I thought it was about time i contributed something to the blog and after much deliberation i felt that i wouldn't bore you all with details of the hurricane dodgers holiday in florida altho it was very good ..there is a particularly good photo of us on the Aerosmith rollercoaster with Drew looking very relaxed arms in the air, big smile on his face and me hanging on for dear life, eyes closed screamin like a girl.
I could only think of Mr Toshacks upcoming birthday celebrations this weekend (his actual b'day is on Thurs if i remember rightly) all are welcome to visit the Toshack household on Sat at 7ish bearing gifts and own booze where we shall wait for Tosh to get ready after his work jolly in Dublin.
We shall then be visiting drinking establishments of the birthday boys choice getting him lots of whisky and cokes untill he is giggling like a girl and dribbling sick from his nostrils.
Hopefully we will have a good turnout as Sparky will be joining us as he has especially suspended all other engagements and Mr Ian Britton will also be present as well as select members of the footie team (not Grant or Robin)
Anyway that is my contribution i know its not till the weekend but it gives us all something to look forward to.
