Was ill Weds and Thrs last week with ear infection, so that wasnt nice. Managed to get some stuff sorted though and have an Interview with British Car Autctions thursday this week. Really looking forward to it, looks quite a good company, and they use sql 2005 which is great. They are offering more money than im on now, + car + fuel card for personal use. Minted.
Staurday April came to stary with mum and dad, we went bowling and had a bit of a birthday tea. April beat me yet again by 1 pin so she was very happy. Damn those barriers. Sunday we went out and had some lunch then me and em went to town so she could by me birthday pressie and some stuff for racing this week. She got me a pair of jeans and i got myself another pair and some wife beaters and a new shirt.
Then we just relaxed and had a nice night in together was really nice. Looking forward to wining some quantities of cash at races this week. What else, oh yeh bought a new microwwave and Toaster, which I was going to use this morning only to find had no butter left... bummer.

My Weekend
On Friday Yvette and I had a nice chinese and just relaxed as she is bunged up with the cold.
Saturday morning played footy. Before this match only 3 league games left and we are clear at the top of the league if we win and another team loose/draw we have the league title. It was an eventful game.
By half time we had less posession, less chances, playing terrible but 3-0 up! i gave away a peno but the guy hit the post. I pulled/torn my hammy or sommit else so was off for 10mins. And J was yellow carded for disent (the ref called him over by his shirt number - but J didnt know what his number was so didnt got over! haha - needs to pay a fine)
2nd half and within 10mins they had pulled 2 back! oh dear. then w eplayed a wee bit better and scored 2 more. final score 5-2, E with a hat-trick and Drew with 2 butcould have be 8 with the amount he missed like a sweet cross from j that he volleyed wide with noone to beat. haha but to be fair the runs and posistions he was in all the time was mint!
So I got home still sore -maybe i should have stayed off?
J and Jonno were coming round for the rugby so I hoovered and polished and cleaned the kitchen - Yvette did the bathroom before going to cribbs with drew. So J and Jonno and Emma came over to watch the rugby with me and Ben. Emmma left after an hour as Jonno wanted his tea made for when he got to hers! hahaha
At night I stayed in coz of my leg - was really gutted as i wanted to get drunk with jonno. I went through my Sky + deleting all the programs that were skipping and hanging (problem with the recordings - loose cable i think) and i watched underworld - ok film.
Sunday tidied my room as much as i could do - cant really bend down and i did washing. then ben and i watched episodes 10 -12 of 24 season 5 - MINTED! then watch liverpool match Oh dear!
Yvette came home from work and i helped her make dinner for the three of us. she made huge chops and salad with jacket pots from M&S dont you know! very nice. then TV for rest of night.
Yvette is still feeling rough and my leg is sore (james picked my up this morning) so eventful busy weekend

80's Quiz
Firstly, I do quite like this quiz, even if alot of my questions are the same each day, but at least I stand more of a chance in this quiz than the topics on it last month...once I get round to remembering the answers that is!!
I had the most ridiculous question today though - it asked me what film starred Michael J Fox as Marty McFly - the options were, Back to the Future, Back to the Future 2, Back to the Future 3 and a random one! Needless to say I picked the wrong one, not sure how since he's in all of those three films!!!

What a great game of Minesweeper DREW v TOSH
So I was winning 7-1 until i did this HUGE mistake. The largest area opened up that I have seen. Drew as you can see went up to 17-7, I pulled it back to 18-18! then went to the end drew winning 27-24. So a great comback from me but I couldnt believe the size of the area that opened up! And Drew did well getting all 16 on the flags mind you - i would have fecked up!

Well i am knackered and i still have a busy week to go !!
Weekend was spent packing and tidying Sara's flat, Monday and Tuesday moving my stuff out of her place, now my room at Tosh and Yvettes is full of stuff, can't get to the bed.
Took Sara back to Wincanton last night with the last bit of her stuff, after we sorted out the last bits at the flat.
By the way Shona is a Lazy fricking bitch and i pity anyone she ever lives with in the future. Her Nan and Auntie cleaned most of her cleaning, her auntie has osto-parosis or something as well. She did f-all to help tidying, she sat on her arse for four hours sunday waiting for a van to arrive to take her stuff, oh could have cleaned, could have taken the stuff down the stairs to make things easier. Lazy mother f@cker!! Anyway i have side tracked...
.... got Sara home at just after 9.40pm, the fog on the way back was a nightmare, could not see for more than 20ft at times, but crazy people still overtook me anyway. Unpacked the car and had Sausage and Mash for tea. Went to bed at just after 11pm. Got up this morning at 5.30am and had a shower and set off for work from Winkie at 6.30, 2hrs later i got her. Very tired need sleep.
Tonight i have to load my car up with my stuff so i can take it to my mums house to sort until i find a new place to live. So more lugging up and down 4 flights of stairs again. After work tommorow i am driving to my Mum's. Friday i will be driving my mum and selwyn to the airport as they are going Australia to see my brother, his wife and the baby. So i plan to sleep on friday and this weekend to catch up on all the sleep i have missed for the last week. Right now i may have a snooze too!!

Movie Review
James and I went to see Lucky Number Slevin last night. What a movie! like a strange cross between usual suspects/ lock stock
and layer cake. and a great cast too. Sir Ben Kingsley, Morgan Freeman,
Bruce Willis, Josh Hartnett and Lucy Liu looking sooo cute, playing an
innocent girl, no kicking or punching just being cute. The whole cast
is great, really played with gusto.
It is a case of mistaken identity, Josh Harnett is in NY visiting a pal
of his and is taken away by one mob boss then when he gets home another
one grabs him. So he has to think of things fast to stay alive. more

Hello!
Hey everyone! Well i'm back from my hols - looking mildly tanned but not much by my usual standards, i'm going to put some fake tan on tonight to top it up.
Had a pretty good holiday even if the weather was a bit rubbish, hired a car so had lots of day trips round the entire island, went to some markets, sight seeing spots, festivals, up a mountain, beaches, had lots of meals/drinks out and even went to a casino and lost lots of money!! Hotel was ok, massive apartment really, had 2 huge bedrooms so could have easily slept 6 and overlooked a golf course so was pretty quiet at night.
Got back on Friday after having to pay 70 euros to get our luggage home - we were 11kgs over the measly 30 we were allowed between us - what a joke! Apparently with any other company you are allowed 20kgs each so will not book with Thomas Cook again. Then the plane was delayed, we had to buy some earphones (£2.75! hah! rip off!) so I could watch the in flight film (Walk the Line) because we weren't even sat next to each other and then the baggage machine broke! Didn't get home to Devon until nearly 1am! Very tiring!
Saturday spent all day at Robin's, I could not summon any energy to go out, couldn't even stay up for the Calzaghe boxing match and had to watch it the next morning, not usually a boxing fan but actually enjoyed it!
Today back to work which is cack and that new msn beta thing keeps kicking me out! Grrrrr! So, how are you all?

My Weekend
On friday i met up with James and some other guys from work for drinks. they had gone out for a curry but i declined as i have weddings and holidays to pay for in the next couple of weeks. Turns out the curry will go on expenses D'OH. hay ho. I was only out for an hour as Yvette and i needed to go to manchester on saturday for a wedding. It was a mate of mine from Sandbach. So i was dressed in my kilt, with a tie instead of a bow tie as it was an informal wedding so wearing what you would normaly wear at a night do. The hotel were the wedding was was very nice. however the drink bill was fucking disgusting. Whiskey and coke, wine and lemonade and lime came to £14!!! service charge was included and the bar staff were wank!
However near the end of the night sausage, egg and bacon sarnies were passed around which was good.
Our hotel was ok, normal run of the mill £55 room.
We got back to chelts yesterday at about 3:30 and went for a snooze we were knackered. Yvette then cooked me ben and sara a lovely roast, then we watched The Marksman, an amazingly crap film with Wesely Snipes. stay well clear.

And now... My week
Well it's been a pretty good week, since last friday i've had a first and second interview with Honda Formula 1 and been made a job offer.
Unfortunately it appears that even F1 can't afford my services and i'm actually kinda upset about it. I had a great tour of the factory last night and had a nose at the cars they're preparing for the first race in Bahrain next weekend. But I guess it's just not to be.
Well I thought i'd have a little rant a la Sparky. Now i'm going to go and sulk!
