My Week

After a great weekend seeing April and my bestest friends (see tosh thread) I come back to my new job afresh and full of optimism for a great week.

Its now tuesday and for a total of 2 working days now I have not spoken to anyone about anything. Not a word. Brilliant.

So im sat here alone again at my pc, with a sandwich after watching everyone ask each other to lunch. I guess I just have to ask myself am I happy. I guess not, this is tedious to say the least. I did have 1 freind here, a girl called Sarah who used to escape with me for a cig break during my first week. But after a few caustic remarks form her colleauges about spending "too much time with new guy" she now barely says hello. So Im yet again on my own. haha Its so bad that Im actually looking for helpdesk calls so i can go visit people lol, but alas there be none.

So this, MSN and a few mails have been my only outporuing of my personality in work time over the past couple of weeks. As you can prob tell feel more than a little depressed right now especially after having made such great friends at messagelabs.

Anyways, Emma is out with her new friends from her work tonight, so i guess this will become an action packed day of saying nothing to anyone. Guess I will go home and just stay in my room haha no point in doing any thing else. maybe dust of the old xbox, at least I can shout shout some abuse at american geeks.

AV

As I was booting my laptop IS had updated our Anti-Virus software and it automatically got updated to my machine, which is not a bad thing, unless you are in my team. i dont usually have AV software on my lappy due to the fact i work with malware all day and i have lots my machine (hahaha at the mo it is running through my adware folder and catching over 2000 instances) each virus sends a notification to IS. So hopefully it will be removed - i asked nicly earlier on.

My Weekend

Friday night Yvettes pal was over so me and ben went round to Drews and Jays (james was there too) and watched a manly film.............wallace and grommit! :D it is funny tho. then I went home ben went to saras. I was nicly reading on the couch when i got a call from Yvette who was having a meal with her aforementioned pal - asking if i could drive her home..............to glosser! Toshs taxi was back.
had a relativly early night as i had a cup game the next morning, if we won the game our team would get to the final of the cup.

So i picked jay and drew up and they complained as it was cold but sunny, and i had my roof down. poofs. they game was a nightmare, gale force winds. we were attacking against the wind in the 1st half, but went 1-0 up after a great goal by our top scorer drew. they equalised about 15mins later from a long ball which i was going to header away being the full back, but our goalie J (another J) said it was his ball but it bounce over him and into the goal. so 1-1 at 1/2 time.

The 2nd half seemed like it was going to be 1-1. after a barrage of corners from them in the 1st half due to the wind conditions we thought we could win it easily, but nothing was going our way. a draw wouldnt be good enough to win the group to get to the final. but then a low shot went in and there keeper stumbled it and we jay came in in buried it. 2-1 to us! :D. a few mins later they attacked but i got rid of the ball and helped one of there guys who had cramp. as i was doing that we scroed again! Jay for his 2nd - a low shot deflected into the back of the net. so it ended 3-1 to us and we ar ein the cup final - ya beauty.

I then rushed home to watch the hearts cup match on sky. we won 2-1 but wank game. Jay and James was round too so we played a new xbox game called black for a wee while till the Scotland V england rugger came on. Scotland won as you all know! WOO HOO! so a good day for me for sport.

Sat night Yvette and i went to the balti in glosser for Yvettes dads 50th. it was ok, wasnt that impressed.

Sunday proved to be a busy day too. Jay picked James up then came for my and Yvette at 9:30am! and we went to cardiff to meet Sparks, Emma and April (sparkys wee girl) we went bowling. the 2nd game of bowling james and i started dossing - james spinning it and me using right arm instead of left. but we were still over 100 in points. April who is 10 was having a blinder, so james and i said we will let her win. make her happy, but competitive dad sparks wasnt having any of it and got a spare in the last bowl "i didnt mean it" aye right. harsh bastard.

After that we went to the furthest away pub to have sommit to eat and watch the welsh get twated. while that was on i went to quickly see my bruv who had just come back from a week in dubai where they had the worst rain for 60 years! arse. then we went home. Yvette and i just chilled and watched TV.

Last day at work before my hols!

Well tonight i'm heading up to London before my flight abroad tomorrow! I am hoping for lots of sun, though apparently it's only 20 degrees which isn't that great and it sounds like I might miss out on some snow here!

Did anyone ever take pictures of themselves outside of their work? I haven't managed to except some poorly edited version of that in paint...might keep that picture to myself!

Oh and its official, i've got a massive head - the passport office just rejected my passport re-newal based on the fact that my cranium is huge on the photo i supplied.

I need to slim my heeeeead, any tips?

(Apart from repeating my own suggestion which was to take my freakishly proportioned head and join the circus)

How is everyone getting on with the challenge this week - I think mine might involve a photo of work and some quality work in Paint to superimpose my face on it!!

This week is half term so it's very quiet at work but i'm off to Tenerife on Friday! Yay!

Eye Exam

the last week or so i have been getting really sore eyes and headaches. SO i booked myself into vision express for a check up. they did the usual tests etc and found that my eyessight was fine, if anything there was a minute prescription, but no point getting glasses for.

but i am sitting here with sore eyes and a headache and i dont know why - next stop Drs.

New Week New Mission

OK this weeks misson is to get a picture of you outside the building you work in with Company Logo in background. Johnno if your at home you have to get a pic of you outside your door with a home made sign in the fromnt window. jay will have to do the same but stick it in his car. Everyone else should be able to get real signs in the background. All entries need to be submitted ASAP this week. Hopefully to Tosh as long as he does not mind, check the comments to see what he says.

Liverpool Match

Well Liverpool won which was good.

it was all Liverpool, Arsenal were crap. their keeper was the one who made the score more respectible. Liverpool need to sort out their strikers mind. Folwer played well but didnt have alot of room as he was being marked heavily.

On the downside i had to get there and back in a coach - got in at 1:30am :(
