My Car is getting Fixed
At last my car is being fixed in the garage after the numpty drove into the back of it a couple of weeks ago. But they were supposed to give me a curtosy car and all was looking well until i called them to find out what car i was getting to sort the insurance, as they did not even do that for me, and low and behold all their cars were out. A whole weeks notice and they did not think to save a car, how thick are they i ask you?
So I had to ask my dad if i could have one of his cars for the rest of the week, so he has lent me the Mazda as shown below.

got to the london exhibition at 11:30 - wandered and then went to pizza express with the guys who invited me (the reason i went!!)
finished that at 2 - wandered around the exhibition again then got on a train at 3:15 back to chelts - got in at six.

Ducking Tankers
I'm widdled off today.
Our IT idiots have decided to install a new firewall which now means that I can't visit sites like Fazed and Fark.
Utter bull poop - I hate work and am going to beat myself to death with a shatter proof ruler and hope to become a martyr like those monks that burned themselves alive and muslim suicide bombers.

i got an email saying that the woman who is selling the tickets husband has SOLD one of the tickets to a guy at his work - FCUK!! that was my mums b'day pressie and jims from my mum!! so now i have to see if i can get other tickets!! bugger!!
also looking on ebay to see if the conract states the ticket is mine!!
beatch!! totally PISSED off !!!!!

What an eventful weekend.
friday night ben came over and watched a couple of films and played on the xbox. watched a very funny film called Adam Sandlers Eight Crazy nights. i emplore you all to watch it.
saturday night i went to brissol with the lads had a cracking night! not much gossip mind you - but sparks got pissed and chatted to ever bird with a pulse - but it was funny.
sunday went out for a drive with yvette as it was a nice day - took a few sandwiches sat on a bench - reading in the sunshine - very twee :)

Roof Watch Update
Just to keep you in the loop, they have now detached the extractor fan from the ceiling and taken it away, and also should be in the flat again today to cut away more of the rotten plaster board in the ceiling.

ROOF UPDATE....
Well i went home at lunch to see if the builders had been in to look at the dangling extractor fan and sorted something out, but alas nothing had been done.
So i went round to Andrews and spoke to the lettings woman, after pointing out on of the Landlords obligations in the contact stating that at any time during the tenancy the property or any part shall be rendered unfit for use by accidental fire or other unexpected peril then the landlord shall allow the tenant an abatement of all or part of the said rent proporionate to the extent and duration of the damage until the whole premises shall be fit for use. I told her i would not be paying any more rent until the matter is resolved and i would also like compensation.

My Leak Just Gets Worse
Good morning everybody.....
The bathroom ceiling is falling down.
For those of you who are unaware a quick recap, in November Sara text me at work (when i worked at Carlsburg) to tell me we have a leak in the roof of the bathroom. So i left work and drove home at 4am to investigate. Phoned the letting agents that morning and told them of the leak. A few days passed the leak leaked, days turned into weeks weeks in to months, leak turned into waterfall down the wall, a nice feature but not doing the building any good. Christmas came and christmas went, January and still no news about repair. So i began calling agian to inform them of the problem. The snows came and melted (more water) the roof wept into the bathroom. Feburary came, a break thru i was told by Andrews Letting and Management that work was going to begin to fix the roof in 6-8 weeks. So it was now march and guess what not a lot had happened still leaked no sign of work being done, i still had to give them up dates on the leak, which had now stained the ceiling and caused it to go moldy, the extractor fan kept filling up with water (we had not had it on due to water and electricity not always getting on together). Then a couple of weeks ago i got home on a Monday evening after work and could smell the after effects of burning, in the bathroom i find a 4' by 3' hole in the ceiling, things arre looking good work has began !!! That was three weeks ago, the leak kept leaking and ruined different parts of the ceiling now and the extractor fan slowly started to come away from its fixings in the ceiling, now you up to date.
For the last two days we have had a lot of rain in Chelts, the leak has been working over time and flooding the bathroom floor, the extractor fan has slowly come more and more away from the ceiling, along with the plaster board it is screwed to. (Hard hats, waterproof shoes and umbrella's are not optional for using my bathroom anymore) I called Andrews Monday and advised them of the impending doom of the fan, they said they will get the builder out to have a look as soon as they could (he was busy doing other stuff) Last night before bed i test to see if the extractor fan is securely fixed to the ceiling still, and the servey says No!!! as the whole thing comes away from the ceiling and dangles in my hand. I have to wedge the door open and rest the fan on the top of it to stop it falling out completly and smashing on the floor. So this morning i left a message on Andrews answer phone letting them know what has happened and asked them to call me back at work. I await the call and will keep you informed as what happens next, so stay tuned kids.
Oh i also forgot to tell you that Sara and I were given a months free rent for the inconveinience of a leaky roof. Also during the whole leaky roof saga at no time had anyone from Andrews or the Landlords came to asses the problem. The lady from andrews came round to do her quartely check, but on that day it was not raining so she did not get to see the full extent of the problem.

Ok well FINALLY moved all my crap out of the flat and into , well mainly the the hall and stairs at the new house. Im sure Drew and Jay appricate it. Fed up of moving now, never doing it again. Getting pretty settled into the new home now, crap everywhere, but I have made a few milestone achievements.
1. Sunday (after 4 hours of driving back from cardiff cos of those Scum utd and Geordie ****ers) I actually had time to make my bed, how great is that!!! Only a week after I moved in, had the right bolts this time and everything,... crazy!
2. Sorted out my Cd's, every single cd is now back in its correct cover, thats only taken me about 3 years to do. Why is it you can muddle them up within minutes and they take hours to sort back out though?????
3. TV is sorted, Sky is working. Great, sky in my room. Expertly placed so I have the optimum viewing angle from my pillow..... well that WAS the case before I made the damn bed. Now I find that after making my bed, the damnthe foot of it blocks my viw to the TV. Life is hard.
Yes I have all the important stuff sorted, forget clothes and stuff like that, Im happy i now have TV, a place to pass out on and some music to get ready to.
So today, well lets see, woke up at 6:00, then got up about 7.10 ... think I may have fallen back to sleep somewhere inbetween maybe? Went to old flat, got meter readings, and dropped keys off. Came to work and have Ben pestering me for a Blog (hence me writing this c***) So if this bored the hell out of you for the last few mins, blame him :o)

It is wet and horrible, dark and raining, not nice at all. At least yesterday was a little better whilst i was having the day off getting my car sorted and Serviced and MOTed. It has passed now, after costing £220 something (About £40 for parts and the rest was flipping labour, bloody con i tell you).
Did people hear Chris Moyles this morning?? The little welsh bugger Allad, had gone to LA to the set of 24 with some competion winners and thay are all now in episode 23. It has ruined the reality of it now, don't think i can watch it now. Oh and he got to meet Jack Bauer, and he stole a security pass for chris, but also he and the winners got there own passes made.
So again i say it is dark raining and horrible, i am going to call it Rainy Dark Tuesday

weekend
had a quality weekend.
friday night stayed in with Yvette as we hadnt done that for a while. saturday went into town shopping and met up with Drew his bro and sister in law and then my brother came with his bird to my house as he was out in chelts sat night.
sat night went to my footy team socail/awards night. I won "most improved player" Jay says it was coz i was shit at the start of the season and then i got great - i think it was coz i didnt play last season - j was just jealous coz he got jack shit.
after a curry in the everest we went to Emmas and annies house warming party and we met up with everyone else - JOHNNO was there HOORAH - good to see you pal.
after that we went to scrubby Q's and i almost got into a fight - some twat was kicking in the cubicle while i was draining the main vein - he threw over the toilet roll holder and it samcked me on the head - god did i shout and swear!! 2 of the guys the dick was with pegged it i told the guy to fuck off again for the hundreth time and carried on peeing.
went back to our group and pointed out who he was james and Yvette new him so james called him over and said "next time you throw something make sure you dont hit my pal" he started up on me again. saying that someone threw it at him so he was throwing it back - i pointed out to the thicko that the was only one cubicle therefore that was the only toilet roll holder so how could anyone throw it at him first.

well i had sent jonno a poem to mark him coming up the M5 to cheltenham on sat
but ben made a better one - so here is mine in its full glory

.... then let me begin.
Twas the night of Jay birthday, and off we all went,
for for a meal of chinese and some meeryment,
Sara and I met up with the other for food,
Drew, James, Jay Sparkle and Ian the dude,
We sat and we ordered a wonderful delight,
Duck, chicken, Noodle and rice was such a slight.
We ate and we gorged until there was no more,
The meal now over we went for the door.
We then went to the pub for a beer,
to meet Yvette and tosh and gave a cheer,
They went into town for more beer and a dance,
I had work in the morning so i said no chance.
As for what happened i do not know at all,
there could have been tears, but i think they had a ball,
The story is over and the tale is told,
Three cheers for Barrett who in now old.
(Right bored of that now, one thing i will tell you is that we did have a very scary waitress, who i though was going to kill us all with chopsticks. Oh and jay was going to come and wake me up at 3am when he came round to collect his presents from my house.)

Thats Not a Busy Weekend Tosh !!!
I think Jay, Drew, Sparky and I Have had the busiest weekend !!!!
Jay and Drew started moving house on Friday, and stayed the night in their new place, which they said was freezing due to not having the heating on properly.
Then Early Saturday morning (8am) Drew, Jay and Sparky wake me up and we all go and get the van they hired to move all their stuff. Stopping off at Maccy D's for breakfast.
One trip to Jays flat and we take the last of his stuff, mainly the big things bed, sofa, chair, TV (which is just stupidly heavy) to the new abode, James turns up to help too. Unload it all, before going over to Drews old place and get the last of his stuff, his bed, TV (not quite as heavy but still four flights of stairs with tight turns, glad i was not carrying it), bed, wardrobe, DVD stands with DVDs in, and a few other bits. All going good so far, Unload drews stuff, have a rest, then Drew and I build his bed and sort out his room, while Jay and James sort out the Penthouse room where ikle Jay will live.
All this done and we get a call from Sparky telling us he is ready to start loading the van with his stuff. I text him back telling him to "Foxtrot Oscar". Its now 2pm'ish so its off to Sparkle's to sort his stuff out, with a pit stop for Lunch. It turns out that Sparky is a big fat liar cause he is not really ready to move stuff at all, only half his stuff is sorted. So Jay, James, Drew and myself seem to move all sparky stuff for him whilst he seems to arse about. Eventually we have moved all his bulky stuff out and put it in the van. Top that up with some more boxes and we are off to the new house to unload. Woo Hoo.
Now all Jay and Drew's stuff has been moved to the new house and the majority of furniture and stuff has been moved for Sparky. But he still swans about a bit like a fairy. Eventually we go back o his old flat and make him put all the stuff that is going back to Cardiff in the van, ready for him in the morning. At this point we all have a well earned rest. Its now about 6.30
This is short lived casue Drew, Jay and I have arranged to go and see Emma, Annie and Vickys new house at 8.30. So its round to theirs to have a butchers, nice place lots of wood (you will see next weekend Johno). One can of Stella later and we are off into town for some more, Drew is now on a mission and starts on the long journey to drunksville. So a few is residence and its off to Q bar for a few more. Oh no Drew is wearing trainers and can't get in. Quick trip to mine to borrow some shoes and its more of the black stuff for all. Long story short, were drunk and go to respected homes at 1amish. Long day........
....... but the weekend is not over cause now it's Sunday, and since i have Jays car, borrowed it on Sat, then returned it, then took us all to town in it on Sat night. Anyway, i pick up the speaker stand that i said i would for Jay. Its still early about 10.30 so i wash Jays car and then head over to the boys new pad at 11.30ish, after bangging on the door Jay lets me in. They have no food so i go off to the shops and get them some. Bacon Sausage and Egg sandwiches all round, Yum Yum. Make the speaker stand for Jay, we watch a couple of films, then Drew and I go and give his old place a quick hoover and clean. Get home at 5ish and doze for couple of hours, then walk over to Tosh's to watch 24 at 9pm. watch that then go home and get into bed. zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Now it's Monday and tonight we are going for a Chinese for Jays Birthday, Yum Yum.

my weekend
what a busy weekend. i went to Yvettes gran and grandads 50th wedding anniversary and met lots of people i forgot within 20 secs. then my bro and his bird picked us up and the 4 of us went up to Glasgow.
we went out for a bit of dinner and then back to my brothers Godmothers flat where we were staying.
In the morning we made a short taxi journey to hampden park where Hearts were playing Celtic in the cup semi final.
after a lackluster 1st half which saw Celtic gain the lead within 2 minutes (i thought shit its gonna be a thrashing) the 2nd half proved to be much better - even tho Celtic scored thir 2nd 4 mins into the half!! bugger. Hearts then played really well after a couple of subs. and fianlly scored a cracker of a goal - but nothing else seemed to go our way.
the ref was pants - he was giving hearts and celtic dodgy decisions and the linesman - well dont get me started. again giving decisions to both teams that was crap. but it was good to go.
eh thats it :)

People Should Learn to Drive !!! !!!
Hello all,
I have in the past thought that my car was in fact invisible due to people not seeming to see it, but it was proved last night when a prick drove into the back of me.
The best bit was when he said to me "Oh this happened to me just before Christmas, i thought someone had gone in front of me and i drove into the back of them too".
I thinks he needs to look forward when driving.
So remember all don't assume stuff cause it just makes an ass out of u and me.

CGCHE Old Skool
well i am back from Edinburgh.
i had a great weekend. I went out shopping on Friday for things for Yvettes outfit for the wedding - earings necklace etc. then we picked up my kilt. from 3pm until 10pm i was sorting out my mums PC - that was FUN!!
saturday was the wedding. my cousin came down the aisle to a piper playing which was cool - 8% of the men were in kilts - all good
the wedding went well and the reception was fab too. effin expensive mind you for drinks.
sunday: people came round to my house for drinks and canopies ;0 and chilled sunday night
yesterday me bro and yvette and Mezz (bros bird) went up arthurs seat (an extinct volcano in the middle of the city - giving 360o views of the city. then we went to a place called crammond - next to the sea. it was all pleasent.
got back at 12 last night.
