Was the BLOG for the CGCHE Old Skool, a daytime TV view of their lives today, or what they did yesterday and only if they can be arsed to Blog it. But they are mostly lazy so sorry if it is mostly empty but Tosh and Ben do their best to keep it going

I actually thought Joe Cole was the best last night, and no that's not because I fancy him that I think that before you put any more sexist football girly comment!!

I thought England were ok, there is a lot of pressure on the team and to be honest I would be pretty pissed off to be a squad member and have everyone talk about how crap they are without rooney. They also need to work on peno's!!!!!!!!!
I thought carragher did well, although Hansens comments on his distribution were well founded, i think he is better surging forward with the ball as he is hard to tackle, then England look a lot better.
I would try putting Reo in that role, he is always accredited with passing skills, and put good old Sol back in defence with Terry and have Carragher as a utility sub who can play CB or DM. Agree Hargreeves is shit. Poor old Carrick needs a game i think.
I dont like the system he played last night, like jay said he should leave 3 at the back, not 2 when defenders surge forward. I dunno what the main plan is, counter attack? , defensive? Attacking??? Think he needs to pick horses for courses more that system is too generic and big teams will punish.
For gorup games, Engalnd need to work on breaking teams down more when they are all behind the line. There are not enough players in the team willign to take on players... Joe Cole shined cos he was prob the only one. I think the most worrying thing I noted was England only look threatening on the break with Owen. Crouch did well and I think he can help break teams down, reminds me of a young steady teddy sheringham who plays some nice neat touches.
No doubting the quality of Becks, but when all players are behind the ball I think you need a player who is willing to take players on down the right. Controlversial but I say drop Lampard, becks in middle and Araon on right - he looked awesome better than Rooney and Theo IMO.
The next 2 episodes of lost are very interesting.
BTW if you wondered what Walt was saying..... he was speaking backwards "Dont push the button" and "The button is bad"
Aaron Lennon was great the other night, much better than Walcott but I guess we will have to see.

I read the tv guide and it said Shannon was gonna die but I didn't expect it in that way! Ahh Walt, he keeps freaking me out, he looks well creepy at the mo!
Well i thought the game was a bit short only lasted 48 mins what the hell... oh no wait i think i fell asleep after the first minute of the first half, dull dull dull. They must have been getting used to the formation and attempting to probe the Hungary defence.
The second half was a lot better, with Mr J Cole playing out of his socks. It was all good.
The only thing i question is the malfunction of peter crouch after he scored. Is he a robot or just an idiot?
Well that makes you about 4 episodes ahead of us then so don't worry!

I tend to watch them again cos Sparks always points out loads i've missed so i watch it again to see what it was!!
Did you also notice that Shannon's dad was driving the SUV that plouged into Jack's "girlfriend" who he fixed up so she could dance at her wedding. Indeed you see Jack pass by in one of the flashbacks.

I did see Jack in the hospital and was quite impressed with my spotting skills! Totally missed that Shannon's dad hit Jack's girlfriend.
