The last Days in Canada

Should have done this on Tuesday when we got back, but better late than never. OK So Thursday was spend tidiying up around the ranch cause they were having guests come to stay. Drew continued with the Sawfit with Carl. I fed the horses in the morning and moved everything that was messy, outting it away, throwing it on the bonfire or taking it the Lea's sisters donnas house. The guests arrived in the evening. A family from Vancouver, Julian the dad was an oriental language teacher at university, he was also german so we talked football with him. His wife was called Gauge, she was an american and the meet at Berkley. They had three kids A boy called Tillman who was 8 and spoken german and english, a girl called Emma who was 3 1/2 and also spoke german and english. The dad only spoke to the kids in German and the mum in english, they also had another little girl who they called Bobo she was 1, her real name was Beatrix we found out.

On Friday i fed the horses again in the morning, my sister was giving the kids a quick riding lesson, i got to ride Jessie the horse bareback for a while as we did not have the right size saddle out for me. After lunch i went to Kamloops and we went food shopping and i got my hat, Drew was helping with the sawfit again.

Saturday again fed the horses in the morning, went and cut up some more wood with Drew, i am a semi-pro chainsaw operative now. Came back had lunch. After lunch i go to ride the ATV as you can see from the photos. Then Drew, Rachel and i went riding for an hour. Came back and made a roast dinner for everyone. In the evening Drew, Carl and i went to the cinema and watched the departed, an ok film but could have been a lot better.

Sunday was our last day on the ranch,so after feeding the horses and breakfast, we went for another ride, saw where a bear had been sharpening his claws on a tree. When we got back drew helped again put up the sawfit, whilst i helped with a riding lesson given to the kids and Gauge. Popped over to another ranch, were the puppies lived to take some pictures of a race horse. Once back at dreamscape we packed up our stuff and were taken to Kamloops so we could get the Greyhound back to Hope. Had Tea went to bed.

Monday was spent sitting around my sisters house in the morning, went out for lunch at a nice little diner. FOund out that it is not just me who has the strange eating habits but my sister lines up her last chips too, it must run in the family. Drew, Rachel and i set off for vancouver at 2.30, got to the airport at about 5, booked in and then said goodbye to my sister. Waited for the flight in departures until 8pm, 12 hour flight home arrived back at 3pm tuesday. Jay was waiting for us at Cardiff airport. We then started telling our holiday tale for the first time.

I have no told my holiday story about 100 times, but since i loved it so much i will happierly tell you again if you ask. Oh an i have finally got over my jetlag too.

It looked a really nice place from all the photos! Does your sister work on a ranch then?
