Long Weekend
Well back to work on Tuesday after a nice long weekend
Friday Sparky and Emma came over for dinner which was very nice.
Saturday tidied the flat for ben to come in (we both had a couple of hrs off to meet pals - James and i went to get bike accessories)
Sunday tidied the flat for ben to come in. Had a lovely lunch with him in the lansdown tho - after we cam back from Yvettes mums and dads where we fed her cat and i cleaned my motor.
Monday was in B&Q at 9:30 buying stuff for the flat. then Yvette and i went into town for lunch and I bought her a bag and me a new diesel watch. We got a curry and watched harry potter 3 - those films are wank!
Ben still hasnt stayed the night - i think we are just storing his stuff ;)

IT'S ONLY BLOODY FRIDAY !!!!!
Yes once again the weekend is here, but the good news is it is a three day weekend, god bless bank holidays. The only unsettleing thing is soon it will be September, kids go back to school (they should be there all the time, so they get a feeling for the real world). Soon the leaves will fall from the tree's, Christmas decorations will be going up in a few weeks (months before christmas WTF?) which by the way is only 100 days away !!! You may think thats ages away but it will be on us in no time, how depressing.
But hey i will be happy about the three day weekend we have now !! Woo Hooo !
Oh and when i was on the way to work, Doing the speed limit, ahhumm, i was getting flashed and waved at by a car. I slowed down just in case and still they flashed and waved at me. So i'm thinking WTF? So i take a better look in my rear-view mirror and see a tiny man driving an Astra Estate behind me, ikle wee Jay Barrett. So i waved back to my friend

We are the Campions of the Strand Quiz!!!
The boys and I all played in the Strand Pub quiz last night and won it by just one point. Was a good laugh and we will have to go back next week to defend our title !!

Don't forget Lost tonight
New episodes of Lost tonight for us to watch tonight. Channel 4 watches can see the back story to Locke and how he got to the island. Whilst the Jack fans can see a bit of his back story on E4 at 11.
What happened at the Football Last Night
Well we went to the football last night and watched Cheltenham thrash Brentford 5-0. We missed Cheltenham opening goal as the steward sent us to the wrong gate, then once we got there we had to go all the way round back where we came from to get in (not saying the guy was thick, just retarded). So we miss the first goal, we find our seats and settle down to what we expect to be a fairly dull match. Brentford are able to play a few balls up to make some half arsed attacks, but get cut down quickly by Cheltenham. So then the Robbins are able to attack and ther reverse happens. It carries on like this for the majority of the first half. Towards the end of the first half the Robbins start to take conrtol of the game.
Second half and Cheltenham are shooting towards the home crowd, the poor Brentford keeper Stuart Nelson is in for some stick. The second half is explosive. Simple to say Brentford are shown how to play football with Cheltenham scoring 4 goals this half. The pressure is getting to every one from the Brentford team and one supporter in the terrace, suprisingly just an 8 year old boy from what we could see. The Brentford manager hurles the ball at one of his own players at one point. Things were not going well, and they ended badly too with as stated a 5-0 drumming.
However, it is important to look at when the goals were scored. One in the first half when Cheltenham were shooting away from the home crowd. The other four scored in the second half not because they were shooting towards the home crwod, but due to the fact Stuart Nelson was near the home crowd, where we taunted him for the complete 45 mins. When ever he had the ball we shouted "Stttteeeeeewwwwwiiieeee" or "Hucknall Town Reject" (even though Hucknall Town were non league and now he get £10,000 from Brentford) or other taunts, causing Stewie to lose his concentration. Allowing me to shout out the following just before a corner "Back Post Stewie" and sure enough it's were the ball went and Cheltenham scored, he should have listened. So i tried it again "The Back of the net Stewie!" and sure enough the ball floats by him to the back of the net. He should have listened!

Flippin heck, you go away for one week, Spurs sell one of your players to a foreign team, you come back and find he's now worth £1 (a drop of about £8) and you can't sell him to buy someone else.

Hello all!
Yep, i'm back from Spain - how are you all doing?
I had a nice time, I went to the pool and to the beach copious amounts of times and on a boat trip to an island in the Mar Menor that had a little restaurant on it. I've got a pretty good tan too if I do say so myself! It was over 30 degrees every day but there were a few cloudy days.
I had Emma here this weekend too, we went to Exeter for a bit of shopping and for drinks on the quay, then to Teignmouth to see my mum and then Woollacombe to top up my tan.
I'm off to trawl the blog to read what you've been up to this last week...

Yey me and Emma are off to sunny cornwall for a week leaving this saturday - cant wait.
We were going abroad, but Em doesnt have a passport and it now costs £90 to get one the same week.

I had the day off

Another Week is stretched out of us
Monday mornings oh so depressing !! So glad there is not one next week Bank Holidays are great.
Did not do much over the weekend just gone. Went of for some beers Friday night with Jay, (edit out James) and Drew. Which was NICE. Saturday was spent watching TV, and also Ladder 49 which is a good film. Then Jay, James and I went to see The Island at the ceinema which was brilliant, really good. Had a couple of beers after but relativly an early night. Sunday was Grand Prix and TV.
