Well i went home at lunch to see if the builders had been in to look at the dangling extractor fan and sorted something out, but alas nothing had been done.
So i went round to Andrews and spoke to the lettings woman, after pointing out on of the Landlords obligations in the contact stating that at any time during the tenancy the property or any part shall be rendered unfit for use by accidental fire or other unexpected peril then the landlord shall allow the tenant an abatement of all or part of the said rent proporionate to the extent and duration of the damage until the whole premises shall be fit for use. I told her i would not be paying any more rent until the matter is resolved and i would also like compensation.
