Weekend

It was good.

after going home early on friday after being ill and sleeping for the afternoon I set off with Drew ben and Yvette to the aforementioned wedding. it was a good laugh especially when drew and ben found out they would have to share a bed together :D hahaha. I will let ben tell you all about the wedding.

Saturday went for a shit lunch at a pub near GCHQ. took 1 hour to come and it was wank. Saturday night me and Yvette stayed in and relaxed - oh and watched Lost- which we found to be good - but i was hoping that the thing in the jungle wasnt going to be a dinosaur or monster or something gash!

Sunday I went to D'boys house to watch footy, even happier that Hearts won again! top of the league and 2 points clear - nice! hopefully we will compete for the whole season but we shall wait and see.

drew and J also made a lovely roast dinner.

Well the wedding reception was fun. Yes Drew and I did share a room and it had one double bed in it. He did not cuddle me at all during the night by the way.

Anyway we left for the reception at 6 from chelts, and got to the Red Lion (4 points Johnno) at 7.20 ish, we booked in got ready and left for the reception which was at a nice little place about a mile down the road. The landlord of the inn gave us a lift as he saw us walking. Cheap drinks all night only 7.30 for two pints and a whisky. Meet up with Annie and Emma there, who had been to all the festivities for the day.

There was some nice food put on buffett and a hog roast, i could not get trotters in a bun or the snout (annoyingly). But the food was good.

I made friends with a four year old called Hannah who danced with us all night, much to the annoyance of her dad but amusement of her mum. I think he was unhappy cause i was being a better dad that he was. Not i a bad way may i add, i am just good with kids (i think it is cause i am still a kid, or something to do with having the same mental age?).

Anyway me and Drew got drunk, at one stage me and tosh went for a walk round the grounds and i fell in a trench after tosh had jumped over it. We left the reception at some point, i think it was about 1, and walked back to the Inn and went to bed.

In the morning we had a breakfast and set off back to chelts at 11.30.

For Saturday night as i said James, Jay, Drew and I went to the comedy club in Oxford. We left to get there for 7, which is when we were told to be there to meet up with Annie. We arrive early 6.45 and then spend the next hour sitting nursing some drinks till they eventually arrive and we go upstairs to see the show.

Our table was to the right of the stage and there were about 16 of us on it. Anyway the Dj kept telling us the show would start in 15 minutes then 10 and 5, but the actual time between these was 15 minutes. So we cottoned on that anything he said you trippled.

First up was the host and he was funny and dealt with the heakeling.
The first comedian was an Asian hindu Gay guys and he took the piss out of himself and was very funny. After him was an Irish guy who was laso very funny and when i shouted something out he took the micheal out of my Yellow (Lemon) shirt calling me Lemon Boy and signing me a song. I thought it was cool and i now have my own theme song (but i can't remember it cause i was too drunk) this incident did make Jay cry with laughter though.

After the first two comedians there was an interval before the final guy came on. He was from East London and had a skin head and looked like he would kill you if you tried to heackle him, strangly no one did. He was also very funny.

After all the comedians had been on they shifted all the tables, chairs and stage away so people had a dance floor. Drew and I continued to drink before we all went home at 1am. Getting home at 2am and going to bed.

One last thing the game of the weekend was Eye-Spy and on both treips in the car we all enjoyed playing it to pass the time. James had us guessing for half the journey to Oxford with his somethig beggining with "S", which turned out to be the Snowflake on the air conditioning button, very trick, the sneaky sneaker.
