Got my hands on a copy of the new Coldplay album last night and you won't be disappointed - it's fantastic!
Listened to it 3 times today and probably another on my way home tonight.
And for all you homos out there i'll still be buying a copy!

Weekend
No Ben you have done a very full account of what happened friday although you have missed a few points...
Firstly, in Squares, they played 1000 Trees by Sterophonics, now this doesnt mean alot to most people, but its a tradition to play that song at some point during the night in Cardiff. Its kinda like Comon Irine or, A 1000 Miles, I havent heard it in so long... Well no doubt you can guess I got very excited, jumped around a lot, and was very happy after that point. (till I lost at the damn casino)
Then Creation, the club is just excellent, no trouble, lots of great music, loads of places to chill out and lots of bars so you useually dont have to queue for a drink... everyone had a good time, Me and Ben were impressing ladies with our super sexy groove... I seem to remember doing the conga around the club at some point in the night???? Then they played the green green grass of home, which if I remember rightly, included a massive group dance between the 4 of us with me shouting until I was hoarse... wow great times.
Left the club about 2:30ish walked past the hilton which seemed to have a fire alarm going off and people were all coming out the hotel, as some irish chick in just a dressing gown proceeded to show us how she had nothing on underneath.... nice
Casino... yeh enough of that. I could say I lost £80, but i got 2 pepsi's out of it, so we could say I just bought 2 £40 glasses of pepsi.
We got home at 5:30am... great night we all vowed not to go home tomorrow but to stay out in cardiff.
Woke up at 10:30, we all vowed to go home. I felt fine, Jay was good, Ben was a bit quiet, Drew woke up and told me to fook off, so I think he was mildly hungover.
As ben said went to town, had lunch, went home, had chinease.
Sunday I went off to Straford Upon Avon to meet Emma :o) Got there ok, stayed in a lush hotel, which costs £130 a night, I only paid £50 as the hotel we were staying double booked us and so found us this place at no extra charge and threw in breakfast for inconvience. Nice. So there made my money back from casino :o)
Stratford is lovely, seen where shakspere was born, and lots of other little shops and dinky little resteraunts, finally went out to eat at a on the river, was lovely :o)
Monday we got up had brekkie, then went out to Warwick castle. That was really fun, they had live jousting and medevil battles. I suppose the place is designed for kids.... so i was well in my element. Booed the black night and cheered the white. Castle was pretty impressive. We both ended up going on the ghoust tour there, which is a tower cordoned off from the rest of the castle. As we queued to go in, me and em being first in the next party to go, we seen 3 kids about 10 come out the tower screaming crying... lol was quite funny, The tour was really good, plenty of people creaping up on you and jumping out on you.. hehe lots of fun.
Anyways, after that I decided to go back with Em to Corries place where she is staying and drove 2 hours to Oswestry. Had a fad tea cooked by Corrie's mum, wow it was awesome. With the best scones I have ever tasted... yummy!!!! Brought some back for the boys hehe. Went to the pub with Corrie and em and just chilled out, was really nice. Ended up heading back at 10, got to gloucester in 1hr and 10 mins and home in an hour and 20 mins... pretty good going :o)
Watched drew cut himself shaving then went to bed. Fab weekend :o)

Bank Holiday Shananigans
Well for those who don't know Jay, Drew, Sparky and I went to Cardiff for the night Friday, staying at Sparkys parents house. We got there about 8.30ish and got ready to go out. Hit the city centre about 9.30. Went to a pub called the square, and started the drinking. Had a few pints there and some girls made us dance with them, Sparky loved it. At about 11 we went off to Creation, which is a really fun club (you can see pictures of Sparky, Drew and Colin on there web site Creation Cardiff picture 48 in the most popular section of the gallery). Lots more drinking for all and also some dancing. Sparky began jibbing out on the drinks we got him, so the rest of us got more and more f**ked. At 2am it was time to leave, so we walked round in a circle near enough Jay got a burger and i forgot to eat. We decided we needed to waste some time for a while so we went to the Casino!! Drew and I went half on the Blackjack and stuck £20 each in. Did not play too well so after some wins and some losses we put another £10 each in and played till just before 5am winning £50 each, we did have £140 in the pot at one point. Jay played some roulette and won, then Sparky lost some of Jays money on Blackjack, so Jay chipped £20 into Drew and My pot so we doubled that for him. I guess you want to know how sparky did? Well never back him on blackjack, he made some money every now and then but over all he lost, about £80 making his night cost about £120-150. Anyway we went back to Sparkys place and went to sleep.
Saturday we got up hung over and went to get some food in the city centre, wandered round the shops, then we all drove back to Chelts. Watched the footie at the Boys house and had a Chinese in the evening and watched a film.

centre parcs was great - lots to do.
rented a bike and rode most of the time, played squash - went on the driving range, played badminton, swam lots, read lots, looked after a couple of kids.

Just to let you know I am only working until 12ish today because i'm going to Spain this afternoon and won't be back on the blog until Thursday...just so you know i'm not ignoring you all!
Should be an interesting trip since i'm going with my ex. Still, he's paying for my flights so it's not all bad. We are flying from Exeter which is very convenient obviously but I think there will be a lack of shops for me to browse whilst i'm waiting. As long as they have a bar I'll be ok I guess.
So, have a good weekend! Me and my tan will be back next week :)
P.S. Whilst I think of it, was chatting to Pat the other day who reckons we should all meet up soon in Cheltenham, what do you reckon?

Well its almost the weekend yey, just a few hours left.
In the absence of tosh writing a load of lox every day thought I would put in a blog bout my week so far.
Well last weekend was spent with Em, which was great, going to see her again sunday, meeting her in Stratford upon Avon (which is kinda halfway between us) booked a nice hotel for the night which was easier said than done due to it being a bank hol weekend... But hey I must be good :o) So thats my bank hol sorted.
Traveling to cardiff tonight with Ben Jay and Drew, staying over my parents as they are away in Greece, so should be a good night, most likely stay sat night too. Havent been out in Cardiff for about a year, so looking forward to it :o) They have some great clubs and you cant beat a classy taffy bird who comes up to you stinking of perno and says "you alriiiiiiiiiiiiight babe" ala Charlote Church... oh the goosebumps... definately better than the "you awite my loverrrrrrrr" accent experianced by much of the bristol lasses.
Anyways, I guess we will have a mooch around sat day, maybe even see starwars again... hehehe

Ok The Trivia quiz is absolute bollocks and rigged by ben!!
I had 7 out of 10 like ben, and I hit submit in about 65 seconds... did it update then? NO no Fing NO!

Just cause tosh is not here no one is blogging
I know it is hard to believe but you can put your own blogs here about what you did at the weekend.
I took Thursday and Friday off work so had a long weekend. Everyone knows what we did Thursday, but i also went bowling and had a meal with Drew and Sparks whilst in Cribbs all day.
Friday we all had a Bar-B-Que at the boys house and went out partying.
Saturday i looked after Sara cause she was ill, went to the boys to watch FA cup, then home to look after Sara again.
Sunday much the same as Saturday, except meet up with boys in town for lunch, then home, before going to the Lads to watch the new episode of 24.
Thats it Glad to see that tosh moved the web cam so it is out of the window for the week, better than looking at his empty desk for a week (he went to centre parks). Star Wars was Cool

Ok Computer Experts...
Help me out here.
I had to upgrade my msn today (it said I had to if I wanted to log in at all) and now it won't let me have a conversation with anyone.
I am signed in and I can see who is online etc but that's all it will let me do. Short of downgrading AGAIN, what can I do to make it work?

Episode III revenge of the bore
well star wars........
2hr film could have been 1 1/2 hours. the action was great - the ships were quality, storyline tied up loose ends nicely BUT the whole storyline of Anakin turning into Vader (shock horror) went on for far too long.
cgi was used a bit too much - when clones were milling around close to the camera they were cgi why not actors in suits!? jar jar binks didn’t speak which was good.
Hayden Christian must have taken acting lessons as as was much better than his turn in episode II but still a whinging git.
anyway i could go on for ages.
it did end the 2 trilogies nicely as we know how Anakin became darth and how Luke and Leila were born etc etc - so that was good.
I will sum it up by saying loads of people cheered and clapped when the certificate came on at the start and at the end a handful had a lacklustre clap.

I had to cut around bart and put him on the blackbored as the ones he was on were HUGE.
i also put the CGCHE on top of the orange star (i had to download the background then put it on then host it on my site) it isnt just a picture you can save - try it ;)
Also right at the top is the very subtle CGCHE text :)
I downloaded a new font which makes it look like kids handwriting.
Let me know what you think - i have saved the previous HTML so can revert back :)

Prague was ace. really nice Ciy. All I did was walk and look at buildings in the day - all the buildings are amazing - some buildings took 100+ years to build, I would have just given up :)
Food and drink is really cheap, pints (with HUGE heads) are about 50p. (So thats what we were doing at night - drinking)
Hotel was not that great - it was pink for a start, but the rooms were ok which is the main thing.
It is nice to have soft towels again!!

i was still pissed this morning
I went out last night with my boss and CTO of the company.
The 3 of us met up with the CEO and a sales geezer from
another AV company. They payed for drinks and dinner.
We went for a lovely chinese in Cirencester. We left
the place at 12:30 - i think the owners were getting
bored. my fortune cookie said "Pay and leave now" so
we got the hint.
i got home the back of one and this morning had that
light head feeling :) no hangover still pissed

Nearly the Weekend
Well it is, and then two days off to do nothing important, maybe clean the house then go back to work for 5 days then another dull weekend, another monday looming and work again tuesday work wednesday work, thurdsay STAR WARS EPISODE 3 - REVENGE OF THE SITH.

The most awaited film of the Century comes ever closer

drove up to Edinburgh after lazer quest on Friday - got in at 1:30. then next day went to the Hearts Match and Billy connolly concert. hearts drew 0-0 and Billy was really funny.
i actually met billy in a hotel afterwards - hahaha that sounds well dodgy but me mum and her bloke were having drinks and he walked past - so i got his autograph and picture :)
i drove back sunday afternoon in 4hrs 20mins!! and then watched 24 at the boys house.
yesterday tidied the flat as Yvettes pals were dropping her off and staying the night.
oh and ben is banned from eating on our sofas - every time he comes round he leaves a stain - usually chocolate!!
