well star wars........
2hr film could have been 1 1/2 hours. the action was great - the ships were quality, storyline tied up loose ends nicely BUT the whole storyline of Anakin turning into Vader (shock horror) went on for far too long.
cgi was used a bit too much - when clones were milling around close to the camera they were cgi why not actors in suits!? jar jar binks didn’t speak which was good.
Hayden Christian must have taken acting lessons as as was much better than his turn in episode II but still a whinging git.
anyway i could go on for ages.
it did end the 2 trilogies nicely as we know how Anakin became darth and how Luke and Leila were born etc etc - so that was good.
I will sum it up by saying loads of people cheered and clapped when the certificate came on at the start and at the end a handful had a lacklustre clap.
sorry ben i tried to like it :)

What did Ben think of it then? And was he really gonna watch it twice yesterday?
Oh may God a film detailing the story of Anakind desent to the dark side has too much of how anakin turns to the dark side. Why is this is it cause that is what the film is about?
I liked it Drew liked it and Sparky liked it, so much we did indeed see it twice.
Tosh is right about the story nicely bringing the two trilogies together. The ships and clothing become like that in "A New Hope". However, since he does not like Star Wars much any way he did not like the non-action plot filling slow bits, put in for us Star Wars fans to provide vital information about the decent of anakin, the rise of the 1st galactic empire and the emporor.
There are some loose-ends though which where not fully explained in the film. But i will just have to wait till the next one to find out. Does anyone know when that is?
i know we needed to find out about anikan going to the dark side - it was good, but it did go on for a while that was my issue. the action was great, and it was great to see how emporor finally reveiled himself.
anikan and Obi-wans (ewan was ace) friendship was acted out really well too and lots of emotion- hence the reason i said hayden has had acting lessons.

but thats the great things about films. they appeal to different people, and we can all have our opinions on them.
Yeah i've got to be honest I didn't think much of it and i'm a Star Wars fan. But then i'm a fan of the original three and have been pretty appauled at the new ones overall.
There were some good bits to it, but on the whole it was a bit of a let down. And I disagree with Tosh, Hayden Christensen still can't act.
That crazy bit with a screaming Darth Vader made the hardest bad guy in the universe ever look like a complete biatch!!
But it was necessary to watch it and I still like Wookies.
