Was the BLOG for the CGCHE Old Skool, a daytime TV view of their lives today, or what they did yesterday and only if they can be arsed to Blog it. But they are mostly lazy so sorry if it is mostly empty but Tosh and Ben do their best to keep it going

I liked it too.
Especially the bit where the dude was in hospital and then a nurse walked in and started to tug him off...

The end which everyone calls Wank is the whole point of the movie and HG Wells original Story.
I think the end was the best part of what I feel was a mediocre movie at best, Cruise was good, and Dakota was great, but the story after the first hour just went to pap. I can understand why you say its wank as Spielberg fucked up the ending, which should have reflected more on how our great society with masses of weapons could not stop what the simplest living organism on the planet can.
Whole point of the story
I.e. thats the end in the book, not the film!
I was particularly impressed by the sight of the limp and crusty weapons at the end of the film.
That was the real money shot for me.
